Thread: S U N Glasses
Don't listen to this guy...he doesn't know what he's talking about. The goggles are one of those "top-level" only items that can't be stored in backpacks, droids, vendors, or houses. The only place you can store them is in your bank...so there is no means to transfer them to any other player.

Eric, if you can't get it to register (which I don't think is even possible to do with an existing account) you could use the new game you bought to start a new character. You should have a free month with the new registration code.
Then you can either keep that second account with the glasses if you wanted, or you could have that character trade them to your existing character the way I described in my earlier post.

You'd be right if this game wasn't filled with an infinite amount of bugs. But there is one bug in particular which allows you to drag an "untradable" item onto a droid with item storage, placing the item inside of it. I just tested it out in game, and it does still work.
I don't know if you can still trade the droid with that kind of item inside of it, butyou could a year ago. And I doubt the devs have bothered to fix it if they left the otherbug in. It's a moot point anyway, since the guy said he got his glasses.
Still don't listen to this guy, as this is a Bannable exploit. Using a bug to circumvent restrictions, especially one well known to the Dev's, is against the ToS and has resulted in bans. If you trade an untradeable item, you're exploiting the game.

Ok for all of you that dont know ill explain everything about the eyewear. To get the eyewear you need swg collectors edition if you already have an existing account you can go to either the website or account information in launchpad an enter the collectors edition keycode as a expansion ive done this an it works fine and it wont screw up other expansions being enables i have both expansions plus swg an empire divided and jtl an rotw it shows me on my information screen second when its enable you can type ingame /segoggles an it will put 3 pairs of eyewear in your inventory this is not a one time use thing you can always destroy the eyewear an re enter the slash command to get a new set also these goggles do not loose condition ppl you will always see the ( i ) icon on them for insured but they are like anti decayed really each set of goggles can be set to a different color they each offer different colors 2 pairs can be set on frame an lens color an 1 pair can only be set on a lens color that about wraps it up.
Well.....I tried to register my SE copy as an expansion from the launchpad account option.
It would not allow me to register it over my existing account.
How are other people able to register theirs? It said something like components from my account would not allow the expansion, or something similiar to that anyway.
I tried /segoggles in the vain hope it had recognised my attempt in some way but to no avail ![]()
