We had two groups... each spent like 8 hours killing him last night.


Each group looted 1 crystal.

just been in there twice in a row.. he had always 4 items on him.. crystal, ship, a rifle, and cybernetic arm.

How are you guys beating him? I have been in a group of 6 jedi, 2 MDEF's and the rest mostly completed templates and we cant even get him to halfway before he kills us all. We take out the droids and then the power cell so he doesnt recharge. Can you post your strategies please? Thanks.

your strategy is all wrong. but i will not post mine because i think it is better to find out for yourself. The game is no fun if everyone tells you exactly how to do it.

I'd like to hear some strategies as well from those of you that managed to kill him. What templates, positioning, etc..

Obviously we are doing it wrong because we didnt make it. I was not asking for a step-by-step tutorial, just asking for assistance with strategy. But apparently I have look else where, as this path lead no where!

We are standing in front of him ingame now, tanking, and hes unbeatable with a team. I can not for the life of me see why anyone would withold information from other jedi asking for help on how to beat Grievious. I can sure use the info, as we do not seem to be able to beat him, can anyone tell us how to do this please?

It should only take 1 mdefender to tank this guy, solo him even..... there are 2 key things you must do... first of all your mdefenders do NOT need to use avoid incap to tank him. As long as they put up aura, and have 1500 heals + infusion they should do just fine. He will still hit hard, but just keep the aura on without fail and keep a close eye on your health and its entirely manageable to tank him.


If you have no tanks... then root is your best friend,oreven if you have tanks,root is the best way to keep him from killing all the non-tanks. You must coordinate your roots to some degree to ensure that your not trying to stack roots on top of each other.... but if you use root to its maximum effect you should not have trouble.


Another thing to do.. is before you talk to treun have one of the mdefenders pull the nk-3's away from necrosis while someone else takes out the "machine". The nk3 will follow you all the way to the bottom, but necrosis will only go so far.


I hope it helps... as a mdefender jedi I am able to solo him pretty reliably.....Its not an easy fight though, I usually drain most of my force killing him.

Wekilled Nec 5 times in a rowwith 4 people.2 Master Smugglers,1 Master Defender, 1 Master Rifleman. The key was to keep Nec rooted and away from his 2 droids guards. Sothe smugglers kept Nec back and away from the action until a Mdef and rifleman killed both bodyguards. Then we all workedon Nec together. It was pretty easy.BTW, looted 1 crystal.

No it is not. Its exactly the same, all the special crystals are. Its like 25% coloured crystals and 30% special crystals like Sunriders, banes etc
