You contradict yourself here, saying first that the mandalorian is crafted, and then that it is not made any more. In actual fact, the point is that the mandalorian IS crafted, and therefore, should have some degree of control in its completion, I mean its not as if any regular pikeman can craft it, it takes a Master Droid Engineer/Armoursmith/Tailor to craft a full suit, and we CAN change the colour on our wares.

I think you're slightly naive as to the rarity of mandalorian armour. On Chilastra, there are only 2 pieces in total, both helmets. Finding someone willing to trade a piece of mandalorian is going to bealmost impossible, because there is no mandalorian to trade!

I think perhaps you don't give us enough credit. Every colour of mandalorian is unique, and many combinations look really good together. I don't think that everyone will have the same default colour suit, because everyone's tastes are different.
The point is, give us the ability to decide for ourselves what colours we want, without having to trade the already uber-rare mandalorian pieces.
