To all the people who said my orginal post was bs, well you can shove it up your ass. I see nothing wrong with paying $30 and expecting a reward for my class that I play.
Which is pretty much the reason why most crafters won't be buying this expansion, at all. And again; At least jedi can do the dungeons.
My crafter hasn't suffered from not owning RotW yet, and I sincerely doubt he will suffer from not being ToOW enabled.
As for the you saying all jedi get is nerfed. Atleast your profesion gets attention unlike all the crafters, and most other combat classes especially scout/ranger. Sorr if my sentences arent coherent its cause im pretty blazed right now.

Somehow I find this statement totally wrong. as stated in my first reply to this posting, I have been around for 2+ years so far, joined litereally days after launch. Since my 4th month I have been a Master Bounty Hunter and nothing else. I've had no desire to pursue Jedi neither in the professional area or in a hunting area. Perhaps I am unique and freeminded? However, I do believe that if they had kept the ORIGINAL way to attain Jedi, by unlocking it in a mysterious and unknown manner, having only a special (lucky) few obtain the profession, then you would see a choice few people in the game who were Jedi get respect and honor like no other profession. The game was supposed to be based upon creating for yourself a persona and a character in the STAR WARS universe. Sure we see elements of the Star Wars saga in this game, obviously it's based upon it, but the overall content and atmosphere of this game has turned into Knights of the Old Republic with added Bounty Hunters who "assasinate" not "hunt" and capture their pray who by chance are only restricted to Jedi. I'm not whining, but merely stating a few points here, should anyone TRY and flame me. In addition, the fact that the game is no longer focusing on the backbone of every combat profession, the crafters, is pitiful. I agree that content should be given to the crafters in the fact that they are essentially the sole providers of the resources, weapons, armor, ships, food, clothing and whatever else you would like to say, to the rest of the galaxy. Of course I have been discouraged at times and over the years have seen many of my friends vanish from this game, but to no extent have I ever thought of quiting. Maybe I am just crazy but I still get the thrill of knowing I have an entire Star Wars BASED (even if it isn't in line with the movies) universe to go online to and enjoy. When I get bored with something in the game I find something else to do. But that is just me. Share your thoughts and disagreement is accepted.
Oh and to address another point, I would like to state that if the game had adhered to its original promises of the unlocking of Jedi, the last few expansions would have most likely delivered content based on the core professions. You might see Bounty Hunters hunting Smugglers and Mercenaries (Riflemen, Pistoleers, Carbineers) that anger a major NPC faction or organization, for example Jabba or Valarian. You would see crafters having a world of opportunity in continuous areas of creation. The revamping of Droid Engineers, new weapons and armor (not restricted to loot) for Weaponsmiths and Armorsmiths, as well as new structures for Architects. Maybe they could be given a job to build the Emperor a new Palace and in return they get the schematic for a mansion type of house. Who knows now that Jedi have essentially taken over priority in this game. Content couldhave and maybe shouldhavebeen focused on the CORE professions of this game.

highly respect this post as opposed to the drivel that most of these teenagers spout as if anyone gives a crap. the fact remains that you and your gameplay choice is in the minority and my choice (pre 7 jedi) is now thrust into the majority. this game would not have survived for those 2 years tho without jedi, and that is my viewpoint partly because that was my goal and we all gravitate towards people of like goals and wants. i am sure you belong to a guild full of people just like you and that is why you think the way you do....is human nature.
at this point in the game tho the biggest problem is all these changes have brought on new bugs and issues and done little to resolve any old issues. there are still bugs in game that have been in game for over 2 years now. now throw in the latest changes and you have all but choked away many of the choices that others either like me or like you that chose to be a melee prof or a crafter. the changes heavily favor the ranged professions atm and it is alienating the entire population due to the lack of direction that soe and swg has atm.
as a fellow vet you can agree that the "wait and see" approach soe has taken has been a tremendous error in judgement. at least that is what most vets have been complaining about lately.
