Thread: question: IS there a MEatlump King backpack or not

there is NO meatlump kingATM
No need to deny it any longer. The word is out, and new players are going to find him eventually. In addition, most of the folks that will read this already know about him, so no worries mate, no need to play it off any more. I do understand alot of vet players' concerns though. If everyone knew about the King, his loot will not be as rare or valuable. So I won't tell how to unlock the quest, but I urge you guys to go ahead and give up the info already. Everyone pays the same $15 a month--They also deserve the Meatlump King.

I just Killed the MEatlump King on Bloodfin. I had to camp the spot for about 7 hours before he would spawn. I got the backpack, illuminator liquids (for the crafting quest), broken death sticks, and some weird hotdog looking things. Very cool stuff, the backpack I got only holds holds 200 extra items (but i did not meet the time limit so who knows)and looks like a Robin hood kinda thing. I got to make dinner. I will try to post a guide and walk through later. I don't understand why so many people are cheap and won't share the weath and fun.
until then,
Meathlump King Slayer 4life.

Don't listen to all them. The backpack only holds 200 items, and has no stats. The other objects are for a very hard crafting quest and are therefore useless becuase it is so hard to complete.
They try to make it sound so uber to brag, but its not all that, except for the 200 item pack and Monk looking robe.

I thought I'd let all the non-combat players know that there are two ways to get the Meatlump King Loot/Rewards.
The first and best know way is to locate aopening to the Meatlump Cave and fight your way down to the King, kill the King, and loot him.
The second way is for non-combat players: Each day a Meatlump Artisan, a Meatlump Entertainer, and a Meatlump Medic will spawn at a random location in a random NPC city, on Correlia. You talk to the appropriate Meatlump, based on your skills, and they will start you on a long quest the gets you to the Abandoned Mine. During the quest you will use most or all of your skills and have a few puzzles to figure out. The Abandoned Mine is the back door into the Meatlump cave so use your skills to go through the mine to the cave and talk to the Meatlump King. If you can impress the King you will be rewarded, if not you get kicked out and will have to start over.
Note: The King may be camped by a combat player so you may have to wait for the cave timer to kick out the combat player.
Good Luck, you'll need it.
