Thread: ToOW Loot not Wookiee friendly at all
So far the items that CANNOT be used by Wookiees/ithorians are :
1) A Cloak from San'sii and the tougher Dark jedi master... (Jedi robes are uni-racial, why cant this item be a jedi robe!!! Frs is disabled afterall, could have use a variation of the Council member robe for this so we could wear it)
2) The miner's medalion and probably other medalions for that matter. (In ROTW, ALL medalions are wearable by all... so in ToOWdevelopersactually regressed the wookiee/ithorian wearability - flat out took it away from us...
3) Miner boots - Some people will have foot protection from the lava... not wookiees or Ithorians, we're as doomed as Anakin Skywalker.
Devs, either you love us or you don't. No more cheap thrills please 
Give it or go back to ignoring us for 2 more years.

I didn't see any disclaimer when they asked for another thirty bucks on top of the 2 years worth of subscriptions
Everytime I pick up a piece of quest reward clothing that I can't wear I am going to turn in a bug report about it. I am going to remind them that I paid as much for my expansion as all the other players, yet I can't wear my quest rewards. I am going to remind them that they were able to give me a Wookiee-specific reward as a rebel pilot (the bandolier that could actually hold thanks that we got instead of the orange flight suit). I am going to ask them why they didn't at least do that for us in this expansion.
I love my Wookiee characters. I accept that we are different. But I still think we deserve the same opportunities as characters of other species. If it is something major, they need to either allow us to equip it or they need to give us an equivalent that we can equip. We know they have the ability to do this. We just have to let them know that they either forgot us, were too lazy to do it, or just didn't care.

ive always just benn quiet hoping that soe will amazinly say, hey lets make an item that only wooks or ithorians can wear. then i woke up and cried. i understand the whol idea that we are different races and thus should have things that make us different. but the way of making us different right now is just not letting us wear half the NEW ITEMS WE JUST BOUGHT!. other than wook armor the only thing that wooks have the is wook only is teh bowcaster, woot (sarcasm), and the life day robe that is also o so uber. the new skill enhancing armor that is in ToOW is neat, but where is the old republic armor that is sweet that the wooks wore? im sick and tired of seeing all these new items and going o hey i cnat wear it, i guess ill put it im my house.... /sigh. and no there was no disclaimer in the toon slection screen whne i started, and no i am not gonna reroll after playing for 1.5 years. SOE put different races in the game and theny need to respect all the races they made and make sure that the game is balanced and everyone has an opportunity to get items that they can use. and i dont want to hear that "if we make items that are wook/ithorian only everyone will complain that they cant wear it." well guess what, that is alredy a problem, and just tell them to put on their boots/gloves/undershirt...... and be happy with their extra 12 sockets and go home. i had really high hopes that with ROTW they would put in a lot of wookiee items, but all the did was make some new clothing images, which i am happy about, but still not what we are looking for. ok enough ranting for this night, maybee ill have more stuff to complain about after i buy another expansion that doesnt help me for $30

Trando's get the same amount of loving as well, just don't hear us whine as much as wookiees

Also Wookiees cannot wear another quest reward item. The Miner's Medallion cannot be worn by Wookiees and is a NO TRADE item so this quest is absolutely useless for a Wookiee to even attempt. This totally ruined my game play experience for this quest.
I am also told that Wookiees cannot wear the quest rewards for some of the other quests and that those rewards are also NO TRADE items!
At least remove the NO TRADE restrictions on these items so I can get something for them.
I am a Wookiee Master Creature Handler. If I cannot wear the Taming Necklace once I find it then I am going to be one VERY upset player. I doubt tthat I can wear it since the Miner's Medallion is not wearable by Wookiees. /sigh
I love the new planet and all the new creatures added is great! BUT if they keep ruining my game play experience like this then I am going to have to start looking around for another game to play.
Agree about the non-trade items. That blows chunks. That is what actually upsets me in the matter about Ithorians and wooks. I don´t think all clothes should uni-racial. That sucks. I like it that races with different physiology has to wear specific clothing but I also want them to have options, of course. Non-trade SUCKS!!
Furthermore, I believe the only reason woks have clothes in epIII is to make them look individual. Only that. Tho, some more bandos, hoods and stuff could be made available. Also, there should be no restriction with cloaks, smocks and such. Stands to logic, doesn´t it? But then cultural differences come into plat...with pants and coats and stuff...hanging about in trees is easier with just your fur and so on...But I digress.
