You'd think so wouldn't you... and so did I. I posted a price check on my server's trade forum for a completed recycler. I got one response saying "what does this do anyway?"

On the topic of the schematics, I had heard that they were a pain to collect and managed to pick one up in an auction for a few hundred k. I figured this was a good deal since I am a casual player who can't spend 15 buff sessions hunting corsairs. Anyway, I went ot the POI yesterday out of bordom and curiosity... I looted an agitator motor schematic in about 10 minutes (if that). I know this is unusual and feel pretty lucky overall. However, it is further indication to the randomness of the loot system.

I don't think there is a huge demand for them. However, given the supply, those with the demand seem to be willing to pay for. After I posted the fact that I had completed a metal recycler, I had someone ingame offer me 2 million credits for it. When I told him that it wasn't for sale, he offered me 5 million credits. I told him I wasn't interested, the next day he offered me 10 million credits.

So, who knows? Crazy.

I ran into similar problems on Lok hunting for the agitator. Do yourselves a favor, just hunt the Captains. I have read here I think that they drop it exclusivly, I dont know that for sure but the three I have looted so far have all come from Captains. There is one Captain that spawns at the POI but Corsairs spawn in about a 900m radius around the POI so do some driving N NE E andSE of the POI seem to be the bigger Corsair spawn areas. I know killing the other Corsairs, Mercs, Kimo's whatever is fun but if you wanna cut your time down drive past the spawn of two Corsair destroyers and one scout and keep looking for the Captains.

Not sure if this was random or not but all 3 Captains that I got them off of were within 300 of the POI all almost directly to the East. Another tidbit the Spawns seem to come and go, I found about 20 Captain spawns in one buff session, the next day it took an hour to find one spawn. So I just moved on to hunt Feed Tubes. Came back two days later and found several Captain spawns. So some good timing may help you if your POI hunting them.

spend 2 hours at the POI today (was alone and no random visitor came by) looted 18 crystals, tons of generic wiring and random junk i deleted - i told one of my wookiee mates to aid a fellow wookiee, sure - he comes by, 30 minuts later, he loots a agitator schematic of a capt... 1 down, 2 to go... - i have yet to loot one myself tho.

when my mate looted the schematic, we were grouped, him and me - so the no group thingie, dont know really if people should pay attention to that - atleast i wont.

All the agitator motors and metal recyclers I have gotten 1 of each on 2 servers were in groups.

Missions are the way to go when you want to be nearly positive you will have it to yourself. My blood pressure goes through the roof whenever I am trying for loot at a static spawn and other people are around. It just makes me nutty. They may be perfectly nice people, but my fun factor still drops. I'd rather be sologrouped and know everyone I'm chatting with is on other planets.

Yes, They do drop them.

I have looted the motor Myself, It's a blue one, but I have no idea what it's for...

(I'm on Sunrunner.)

And the Canyon Corsairs hit hard.

And again, yes,...They are on Lok.

Rynnn -

Rember this, the pirates drops 2 (two) different motors -

1) Agitator Motor Schematic (when build it will be in a red colour)

2) Small Power Motor - it is a complete motor, and its blue - but it is not the insane rare (for many servers/peoples) Agitator Motor Schematic - since that only drops in a schematic form - the blue motor is dropped as a complete one, but can't be used to build the varius recyclers as the main importen thing.

The small power motor is one of the components of the metal recycler schematic (which becomes a smelting machine when created) which is the other schematic dropped by the Canyon Corsairs.

And yes, I can confirm this as I looted both items quite quickly and the four heating elements from the Binyare bunker on Talus to build a smelting machine.

No Agitator motor schematic as of yet though. A downer to be sure as each of the other four recyclers require one.

I looted one just now after about 20 or so buff sessions!!! Got it from a Corsair Capt.!!!
