Do you have idea what you're spewing? lol Juvvies ARE now dropping Premos on occasion. Canyons absolutely drop prems too.
This could have been wrong, but that's what the SoE publish notes stated.

Version 0.114815 (March 1st)
Krayt Spawn
Giant Canyon and Krayt Ancient Dragons will be the only Krayt's that drop pearls. We are monitoring the drop rate from these two types of Krayt and we will be tuning it as we see fit

u must have gotten a bad tune from it...from my experience the way canyon premium and giant premiums tune is different..generally youll get a much better tune out of a giant's premium

It's all pretty much random.
The Canyon premium I got on Sat tuned to 42/-7... I sold off 10 quality pearls. One of the guys who bought two sent me a /tell that his two both tuned to 32/-9.
I've also had Giant premiums tune to significantly worse than my Canyon premium and have seen Flawless pearls tune to significantly worse than my horrid Giant premium tune.
... and that's why I won't spend more than 1M on a pearl... that's a lot of money for something that is most likely going to have a bad tune and get thrown away.

This is wrong currently, though I expect a nerf to come soon. I have looted 34 quality pearls from juvis from March 10th to this morning. With the hotfix on 3/10/05 Juvis and Canyon Krayts did start dropping pearls again.
Personally I have not looted a premium off of a Juvi is over a month though. Can people confirm that Juvis still occasionally drop Premiums currently?

How many juvies did you kill is the real question.
That would make sense that you get 34 pearls from hundreds of juvies

Hundreds I would say. I was home and sick a lot so I got to play way more than normal.
