I've tried, oh, i've tried.
I've succeeded a few times too. Last night, I was with 2 master LS jedi, a pikeman (with a looted 1k dmg LVA), a commando, and myself with a 925 damage power hammer. We outdamaged twice but BARELY, after losing a few kills, we left. It really difficult competeing with speed capped rifleman with an afk StrafeShot2 macro on dishing out between 10k-30k dmg/second.

I think the best solution would be to 3x his HAM and give him asaber

Bah hes not dealing out that much not nearly by my calculations hes putting out 4823 dps that is with the heavy armor piercing bonus and minus the resists. Raw Damage I guessed on the speed of the weapon and the min damage So its definatly possible to out damage him. Just gotta be quick. Even if your there set a macro.

Here are my Calculations. Remember that he is Speed Capped (+100 speed Mod) and it is 3300 dmg with a powerup, then add the +25% AP bonus... and the outcome is not pretty..

I forgot about power-upd but 90 is speedcap for riflemen I guessed that he wouldn't bother going higher then calculate in resists too

no he still does drop tapes I just looted a +13 polearm speed off of him and the guy i was with looted 4 in the last 6 hours and a few over the last few days,,, I literally looted the polearm speed like an hour ago

Cabo/Sampson on Scylla are good guys, and are rarely beaten because the have some uber swordsman there with them

MOD 4 teh w1n!!!!
cabos rifle is 3482max unpupped he drops Nyax in about 4hits (some times hits him for 25k dmg)
napoleon's PH is mid 900s
aumegrons laser carb pups up to 720max
Tray is just teh ubar bad azz jedi
and the Amidalla family(Geri,Geria,Geri' and im sure there are more)well... they are just a nasty crew (full of Cm/rifleman , swordsman, stackers, and all the sort)
