As far as I am aware this is not a bug. I believe you have a 50-50% chance to actually get the item.

Here's how it goes...

1.Spend days upon days to obtain all the components to craft Mandalorian parts.

2.Find a DWB crew to brave the wraith of droids on your way down to the bottom.

3.Keep your crafters alive at all costs.

4.Enter all your hard earned components in the crafter bin.

5.Cross your fingers and pray to the almighty DEV lord and find that you have a 50-50% chance to actually get what you worked for.

6.Get kicked out of the DWB after one craft only to do it all over again if you have multiple components to make multiple Mandalorian parts.

this is why it is so rare and expensive.

im sorry but this just isnt true...there is no intended 50% success rate or even anything less than 100% if everything is done right...

we have made roughly 10 jetpacks and a mando chestplate in the last few weeks...all have been successful but on 1 trip we experienced this same thing...crafting bugged and crafter couldnt complete the process...said she got some weird error messsage or just some jumble or something...other than that 1 occurence though EVERY other trip was successful

and yes ours occured in the DE room while crafting a jetpack as well

Man, I'm seriously getting really worried here...

We're planning a trip to craft a Jetpack tonight on the KATANA server.

Yes, KATANA, the Japanese server.

There are no known Jetpacks on the server yet.

I'm honestly worried that this bug is the reason why...

For the ones that were bugged, were all the components looted post-CU?

Were there any components used that were looted pre-CU?

Maybe this has something to do with it...

Just a thought.

It's been around since before the CU--nothing to do for it really but just head on in and hope for the best. Oh, and make sure you know the process of calling a CSR to come so you can plead your case before him/her.

Good luck!

Thanks man,

We successfully crafted the first Jetpack (at least everyone we talked to think it is) on the Katana server last night. /yay

But as we were talking about the possible failure, I heard there was a group that lost all their components about a month ago.

BTW, when we talked to a CSR before going in, he/she said "There are no crafting bugs for the jetpack that we know of, so we won't be able to help you if you fail"...

Crafted a helmet successfully on Chilastra last night, bug is definetly hit and miss as the crafting went as smooth as I could have hoped for.

It happened to me once out of about 10 times. Of course, the time I was making my own Jetpack for myself. CSR's wouldn't replace my parts, either. (sigh)

Yep. Same exact problem happened to me.

Got into the jetpack crafting room no problem with a superb DWB group. My GF who was sitting across from me at the time was the DE/Artisan and had respec'd into the proff just for the occasion. She set the stuff in the droid and started the process and I watched closely while anxiously protecting her. After setting it all in motion she became spammed with a message that said "the forge displays random numbers and symbols and cannot be used at this time" there was nothing that could be done after this. We just had to sit and wait until we got kicked out. It was terrible. Such an anticlimatic way to end the night. A huge waste of resources and effort.

CSR's weren't available at the time (it was like 3 am EST) and their responses to bug and CSR tickets only told me that there was no way they could help me. They apparently have no way of looking into the occurance and that they were sorry.

I'm still pi$$ed about it.

ok well i have crafter 2 jetpacks since my mishap and you will recieve the notification of the terminal not being ready.....the process is this:

after you drop your last piece in the droid...btw put the base in first, if not it could be more apt to bug....you cannont access the terminal for 30 secs...the you should get the aeration message and you have 30 secs from this point to access the terminal and hit continue, 30 secs later you will get the hardening message again 30 secs to activate terminal and hit continue....after hitting continue 30 secs will pass and you should recieve your new jetpack in your inventory....perhaps she missed the 30 sec warning for aeration in her exuberant clicking?

just remember to put the base in first....its worked for me so far...if not you dont see what other components are necessary to finish the jetpack process
