it seems that juve only drop quality
Canyon drop quality and premuim
Giants drop premuim (quality not sure about havent had many pearls off giants)
Ancients drop premuim and flawless best possible

Might have to go out and kill myself some canyons when i finish the pikeman grind then

Juvies have been known to drop Premiums.... pretty rarely though
I have looted 70+ pearls from juvis in the last 2-3 weeks and every single one has been a quality. A couple of patches ago, in February, I did get a couple premiums from Juvis, but I have not seem or heard of any dropping since the last patch.
Better news is that every pearl I or my friends have looted from a Canyon since the last patch has been a premium... and collectively we have looted quite a few.
