Thread: So.... anyone kill an Elder post CU?

On the first night post CU, five of us died at the hands of one Elder. Two nights before, two of us took two Protectors, three spell weavers and a couple rancor. This is not daunting, its depressing.
Change is good. I like change. This isn't change, its destruction of a fun time.
Sad to lose so many friends.

Ive solo'ed quite a lot npc's which are higher than lvl 120 so i think your claim for it being impossible i dont buy also a couple of members of my guild took out axi min (sp?) the other day just the 2 of them.
It may be impossible for you though lots of people are taking down npc's alot higher than their own level, i find knowing how to use your template a great way of getting the upperhand and understanding how the npc is likely to fight not to mention using terrain to your advantage.
I think the CU has meant people need to learn to use tactics which was sadly lacking in the old system so im loving the new system.

me and 2 guildmates killed tons of enraged dune kimos ( lvl 150 ) easily.
Of course u can happen to be instakilled if they hit u, but with the right tact and group u can still kill higher lvl mobs with no problems. Soloing them seems not to be a viable solution though ( and i like that)

killed a lvl 275 dark jedi master npc in dantooine while we found him while doing missions. Was great fun to work as a team together to kill him, althoguh him killing you in one hit i think we all died at one point, but doc was there to rez us and we got him down through a bit of rooting/snaring and knocking him down and looted a nice +22 pole speed / +25 general ranged accuracy AA

havent killed an elder but i have killed Axkva and Protectors/Spell Weavers, beware of Spell Weavers though since they are the ones that use the most force powers of all the NS i think they use Force Breech, and that will pull u outta Avoid Incap so u die, its bad... and funny at the same time, even though i get owned by them now its so much more fun than before

some friends and i have killed numerous NS includeing elders and axkva, axkva droped motors ,creds and a nsel schem thus far int he times ive killed her and weve gotten a couple premium crystals from elders, ( this was before the balance pass on dath) now it seems none are over lvl 90 ( havnt seen the queen today) sentinals are higher than elder and weavers go figure, i doubt the elders are dropn premiums now that they have roughly 15k ham and are like lvl 84 vs pre pass lvl 275 and 40k ham.
