ok let me ask you this, what would be the minimum value in in CA's you would put in. I have a +5 Ranged def CA and a couple other ones i'm considering, but would like to know what i really need to look for in this sort of thing.

Cap for CA/AA/bio clothing is +25

There are thousands of CA/AA's that are in someones inventory hoping that they will be fixed someday.

Personally, I wouldn't hold onto anything under +5...

Looted a 2h melee speed ca yesterday, i was wondering if the mod would work with 2h saber? Thanks in advance

no, saber is not considered as 1-handed, 2-handed or polearm... Just look for range/melee/poison/disease/states defense and terrain negociation.
