Thread: Looting system: BH world vs Non-BH World
I would agree that, the 30k payout is sweet. But do not be under the misguidence of thinking that all BH's end up with good loot. I have been running these mish's for over a month now, almost non-stop. And I have yet to get a CA that I could even sell. Unless Clothing experiment ca's and Food assembly ca's make a big comeback.
Like I said, i've been running these mish's for a while now, and gotten nothing really to brag about. Or anything to help my Jedi out.
Anybody else find it ironic that BHs keep getting all these jedi attacthments? Seriously, WTH? Sure, BHs'll sell 'em to jedi so they can become stronger? Does this even make sense?

Half the jedi I know have an MBH alt. Don't know what the other half has cuz I never asked. So what I'm saying is, you can be both. So yes it makes sense. If they take attachments away from BH missions, then there will be nothing dropping them (except the occasional marauder).
I don't like the fact that the most time consuming type of mission is the ones with the attachments, but atleast something is dropping them.
bh have a loot option unavailable to any other player class.

Bounty is Bounty...doesn't matter where the credits come from, either killing a jedi or selling him a tape
there are some BHs that have had very poor luck. but if you are efficient you will get huge money from BH missions. i made about 8m per hour doing novice missions. i would not get 8 missions per hour, so average to 1m per misision. if i do 3 MBH missions an hour, at the same average is 3m per hour, which is 50% more then the 2m per hour the previous poster said he made killing krayts.
plus i dont have to worry about having a group come in and kill them, which i did when i was hunting krayt. needless to say, i am leveling BH for NPC loot.

As far as I know, you are correct about a single item, Power Cells. I do not know of them being dropped by anything else. I've gotten 1 lootfrom 190 BH missions.
As far as everything else, unless things have changed stocks, scopes and barrels can be dropped off of just about any NPC. I used to get a ton of them off of tuskens, but maybe this has changed.
If you are talking about AA's and CA's then you are flat out wrong. I have looted both off of various types of NPC's since the CU and since the last publish. I have gotten attachments off of factional NPC's, off of Sith at the village and others. If you are trying to say that only a BH can loot attachments that is false.
As far as crystals go, last week I went out and killed singing mountain clan for about an hour solo. I looted three color crystals and three or four damage crystals as well. Their drop rate is 10x or better the drop rate of BH marks for crystals.
run 100 missions for any l80ish npc and see what you get vs 100 mbh missions.
It all comes down to the fact that the loot situation sucks in this game, and for the most part, has always sucked. There have been occasional times when the dev's will "fix" the loot issues for a month or two before they nerf them again. But over the last 2+ years the loot has been deplorable.

But in addition, as you start speaking about the reward topic, BH missions are well rewarded by comparison with classic hunting missions.
Even for less rewarded master BH mission.
Killing a white con target for 30K is really imbalanced by comparison with killing a pack of white con mobs for 11K
Those who never played a BH would be really really surprised to discover that BH PVE mission job is really rewarding better than classical PVE missions.
Damn, in 3 days, just when grinding Investigation III and IV i got good quality white crystals, jedi double ls speed CA, jedi force regen CA and jedi max force CA

Gratz to you man. This sucks, I know what's gonna happen. I'm gonna keep doing these mish's and not get crap. Then the dev's are going to nerf the lewt drops. Then i'll go down as one of the, if not the, unluckiest son of a gun in the SWG. However I did just sell some powercell's for 8m. And to be fair, I have looted several set's and these are the lowest i've had and they sold well/fast.
So yes, my CA luck is horrible, but I have lewted other things that are nice. And yes, I agree it is very unfair that I had to make a BH to get decent loot in this game. And the loot isn't that great. You can spend day's running these mish's that take atleast 30mins to run, and never end up with anything more than decayed armor and smuggler crap.
The loot in this game is just STUPIDLY borked. Why don't the lootkit's drop anymore? But yet every junk dealer still wants to push out lootkit kit's. I have to call incompetance on this one. We even had a publish dedicated to loot.....lol. For some of us, Loot hunting is all we play this game for. So we get stewed.
