Thread: Jetpacks are the only rare thing left in the game
I'm pretty sure a csr will change the colors to make the pieces of mando match. And the jetpacks are extremely useful. Anyone who has one and doesn't use it either doesn't know they are repairable or doesn't want to draw attention.

There are still rare things out there.
Full, complete, matching set of Mandalorian Armor. I play on Ahazi, which is a very large server. And I have yet to see with my own eyes anyone wondering around, fighting, etc. with a full, complete, and matching set of Mandalorian Armor. I wouldn't doubt if there is a suit or two that's complete, but nobody wants to risk jacking the suit up. Is Mandalorian Armor Bio Linked?
Jet Pack. I've seen 2 of these things in use, but only for showing off in places like Theed.

pre-CU a CSR changed the color of a set to all match...this isnt the case now...the armor is crafted from a schematic now which is one-use only and is rewarded for completing the crafting processin the bunker instead of the actual armor piece being rewarded...
this is done so that the armor can be crafted with useable stats and so the color is customizeable...also all pieces crafted pre-CU were given an option in the radial menu that allowed them to be broken down into a schematic and recrafted same as the pieces crafted post-CU

then i don't see why there would be a problem finding some with a complete set where all the pieces match.

Unless they've been changed, they're the slowest option available. It was handy to just have it on my hotkey rather than having to pull and mount it like a normal vehicle though.
Oh, and what's this about?

In my opinion, the jetpack is a junky all-purpose vehicle for one main reason. If something shoots you while you're riding it, you can't take it off, and you can't fight back until you fly away out of combat range.
Not quite true. You can double click on the jetpack and you'll dismount. I've done this a few times when Korgas and Nightsisters have killed mine.
In the end, I think anything crafted in the DWB ranks as the rarest items in-game. Something like Mando gloves are probably the rarest since few people would waste the components to make them.
As for the jetpack being a practical vehicle, I think it ranks as #1. I can chase down any Jedi target with it when they're force running and, if they're riding a vehicle, I can catch them thanks to the no-speed-loss over terrain. Defenately one of the best investments I have made ![]()
