i bought a +7 combat medicine exp. tape from a guy, told me that it was dropped at fort tusken, by a warlord i believe. So..the loot is there somewhere.

I've noticed the excact same thing, the place just seems.......deserted somehow, but then again spawns have been screwed the last couple of weeks, imo.

I have never seen missions on tuskens before. Granted I don't hunt much out of Tattoine, but even in a solo group I don't recall ever seeing one.

I'd say the two best places I've gotten loots (being I died after five minutes in the DWB, I can't seem to figure out where the Geonosian lab is, and I haven't done the corvette missions) are the Sennex cave from the Hero quests and the Warren. The Sennex cave is cool because the respawn time is so ridiculously short, you'll like kill a guy and he'll reappear thirty seconds later. I got really cool loots in there, mostly explosives and grenades. I did get some nice grenades with mind poison.
The Warren is hell... Its awful seriously because half the time there is no spawn to loot and the other half of the time, the spawn are so over the top that unless your buff hasn't run out or you don't have a buff, you're up poo creek without a paddle.
However, the cool thing about the Warren is the fact that (as long as there aren't too many people there) the lockers and magseal crates almost always have cool stuff and I'm not just talking about the things needed for the quest itself. Also the loots I got off the npc's were cool. I got a palm frond, a really cool looking robe with a metal chest lining, a gemstone crest necklace, and if you can kill Colonel Teraud (who isn't that hard, I just took some neutron pixie and vasarian brandy and ran in there) you get a bowcaster (mine sets people on fire; decent damage for ranged). I would recommend tracking down a map of the place and printing it out before you go though.
As for Fort Tusken, yeah I get what you're saying that people shouldn't be there if they can't kill things but at the same time you have to consider the whole combat balance issue. I'm a smuggler/pistoleer. Its a role playing game whether people like it or not, and I have no desire to have my character master every frickin profession just for a badge or force sensitivity. If I want to try another profession set, I'll make a new character on a different serverfor it.I dont' kill things nearly as fast as a swordsman, teras kasi, or commando and because of that, people think its okay to just jack my kills. I can hold my own against a warlord just fine, with composite armor I can handle more then one. On Kauri, I've actually had to make a macro to tell people "I don't need any help, thank you". Just because I'm not a teras kasi master or commando who can kill in thirty seconds, people think its okay to ignore my request and jack my kills... and then they're normally jerks about it and throw some sarcastic remark my way...
... and then they get pissed off when I won't slice their armor on Coronet... Go figure, lol 
Yeah people need to be skilled before they go to Fort Tusken but just because someone doesn't think you kill fast enough doesn't give them the right to oust you.

on my server the ns spawn really well and me and a friend spent a buff sesion out there 2 night ina row and looted 4 premium crystals from elders and a 8 or so othere crystals from protectors and weavers. this is how my friend and i make our bucks, and 1 ina bout 20 lances aren't to bad. sure they beat the hell outa your armor but if you loot a premium or 2 or 4 in my cash you won't have trouble buyin a new set of comp every week. but if you just have one mast melee prof don't bother. me and my friend are both tkm mast swords and mast fencer and have nov medic so we have to prob with elders. but if you have a few high lvl combat prof ns hunting could be your best option. goodluck to all and god have mercy on the nightsisters

i believe that tuskens are waste of time. only some colored crystals..and not so often! NightSisters elders..all the way

- tusken loot = a few credits earned to buy some regular stuff
- the ability to retire from doing any kind ofcredit grinding after you loot 1 good NS loot....way more worth the time
nuff said. tuskens hold nothing on nightsisters. unless its the 200k ham tuskens, they drop good stuff to.

You get damage crystal too.. In a full buff session I will get 8 or so crystals. That's not so bad for some new jedis comin out.

Damage Crystals yes...but their quality is crap..not even Good Crystals

yeah butmost of the crystals will be color and any power crystals you get will be fair at best.

Its a beautiful place called "DeathWatch Bunker"... very VERY good loot, and some BH armor, really i made a character who was BASED on kiling deathwatchbunker goons outside the bunker.

i don't know about your server but i've spent a lot of time down there in the dwb and ill loot 1 item in maybe 2 hours. and i've also hunted spawns of blacksun for quit a bit to and looted very little. i've also never heard of someone looting any bh armor pieces on endor. im pretty sure they only drop on the blacksun spawns on yavin and sometimes on dath
