Killed that guy for two and a half hours last night.
Took the loot to the junk dealer in the Kertamba village. Got a fair (more than 10cr, but not a HUGE) amount of money, for selling the Sayormai artifacts there. The prices appear to be random. I had a lot of the Tan Mystical Tomes in seperate cargo pockets to prevent stacking,and even those (I'm pretty sure) had different sale values. I could be mistaken though, I had a lot of mess to sort through.
I got the Scythe after about an hour, and got the First pistol about an hour and a half after that. Ugg. Bor-ING. Right after I got the first pistol, I said, I'm gonna kill this guy one more time because as sure as I don't I'll miss another one. Killed one more, and *BAM* got two pistols in a row. I'm done.
I can't evaluate the scythe, I don't know crap about melee. The pistol however is wicked cool looking, tough not really what I'd call smugglerish. It looks like it wants to microwave popcorn, and lo and behold, it has the new blue lightning energy beams. It took a while for it for my friend to see it when I had it equipped, to him it was animating my character in an unarmed stance and the ro-ro's were just falling over on their own from about 20m out. It is possibly unrelated to the pistol, but he couldn't seem my flame thrower after that, for a little while. I was running around taking unarmed stance, and shooting fire from my hands. Funny, but /bugged it anyways.
A fun loot, to be sure, but not what I'd call anything remotely useful. I fear the camping that will ensue.

Check his con shield, it's divided by a black line, which is an indicator that he is an Elite version of that mob(in this case, a Syormi). They usually have the same health as the standard versions but faster regen and use specials. Add anywhere between 15 and 30 levels to an elite, depending on how tough the level usually would be.
EDIT: As to the hostile response, it pisses me off no end when people spend their whole life on the forums bitching for new content/loot, and when the devs add dozens of quests and literally hundreds of new items, people come out with this "OMG TIHS IS NOT TEH UBAR WEPON I DO NOT CAR3!!!1 U ARE TEH SUK SOE!!11" crap.

I took that number and multiplied it by 100 (ignoring stacks, in the future i'll use backpacks to prevent stacking) and posted it on a vendor... sold out within 12 hours... all i did, was listed it on the bazaar search, which is the default now (so i didnt really do anything). Brand new vendor, not even on the map.
I'll try to get around to posting the item values, along with screenshots of the items later, some are pretty nifty.
For now you can view a few of the items as seen in my display. I turned up field of view so I could fit the whole table in the shot. Light is provided by one of the new glow sticks.
It sure gets some attention.I picked one up after a couple loots yesterday. I still want to get a glow stick, but someone else came after I had been there for a bit and I didn't want to hog the spawn. Maybe I will get lucky this weekend!
