No the helmets are not back in the loot table, or if they are in, they are very very rare, I kill tuskens at the fort all the time, haven't gotten any, all I get are boots and gloves. I do have a helmet, but it is very old, back from when they were common loot.

I looted a double bandolier thingy the tuskens where a few days ago just outside of Wayfar. Just wondering if that specific Tusken loot item is rare or not now?

no, the bandoliers are not rare drops.

I used to have the coolest Tuskin outfit display... full set, and with rifle and baton. It looks like the Tusken was holding the rifle. It was neat. But then my house went poof (this was quite a few months ago). Been looking for a helmet for months now... have every other item...

Back in the day, you could go to Ft. Tusken and get multiple entire outfits before you left. They dropped like rain, to the point that many people (including myself) destroyed tons of outfits because it was just a waste of space. I kept 3 full outfits just to have them and many moons later, the helmet isn't dropping anymore. Being a packrat can be handy sometimes I guess!

I've had every other item drop off them since, including the double bando, but the helmet is gone for sure still. The ones you see people wearing now had dust on them before they broke them out of storage. What's old is new again!

Too bad. I had a Tusken Helmet, boots, and a double bandolier in a pack in my friends house. Then he quit the game and didn't tell me so now I lost that stuff.

Lets see. Time to clear the tuskan bunker: 5min tops, things that droped. Tuskan boots, Tuskan gloves, 3 tuskan rifles (one with dot).

Seems like since pub 6, alot of things are back on the loot table, and I wouldn't be supprised if the Tuskan helmet is back.

One thing: The droprate seems to be way better at the tuskanbunker then the tuskan fort since a)there is more ppl then tusks in fort tuskan since everyone things it's the best way to xp (meeep way wrong) b) the rate tuskans get killed at fort tusk would make the tuskan equipment to common.

Dang... I have a char I stopped playing on Chilistra a month after launch. I have about 20 full sets, and tons of extra robes and masks. Wish I could get something on Lowca for all that stuff.

Wrong, I spoke to a CSR the other day in depth about tusken items etc. He said they still drop, just very rare.

Yeah because we all know when CSR's speak it's canon.

In other words, half the time CSR's are outright wrong.

My friend told me yesterday that when he was a noob ages ago, he aquired a tusken mask, and sold it for 20K lol. He said he needed the money but didn't realise he could have got a few 100K to a few mil. I don't know how much they went for then I wasn't playing.

He really regrets it now because their worth so much, and he wants one for his collection too, Oh Well lol.

I think their the most common drop, your right though they are worth more than bazaar prices. I've killed a fair number of tuskens and all I've got are 2 pairs of boots, loads of gaffi sticks, a double bandolier and a pair of gloves.

I gave one aof the pairs of boots to my friend that I mentioned in my other post above, and sold some of the gaffi sticks and kept one for display, cos their no use to me really. I am a master fencer but they have really bad stats and so are pretty much useless in a fight.
