Ok, since we can't become sith.. if its possible to assemble a Sith holocron, you'll still have useless junk.... so we're back to square one.. you end up with pretty deco, even if you're FS

So you think :-) If you assemble those fragments, you will see the sith holocron. The sith holocron image thats in the client files has the exact same markings and shapes of those fragments. Could it be that you need to get them assembled? Dunno.....

Thats what I was thinking...but I didn't finish the quest I was rushed by two rancor tamers and well I still have them lol. There probably useless but just the fact that its Sith related got me to wondering and thinking...

And when it says Altar trust me it can't be refering to something you worship something or somebody at. Unless you're like 3 inches tall...

Ok Ihave been reading all this about the different types of jedi holocrons but does anyone know wat the "Dark Jedi Medallion" is for or what the significance of this item is?

I did the imprisoned Dark Jedi mission yesterday, and when I examined the Sith Alter pieces, they use the exact same artwork as the Holocron shards.

The fact is... The Sith are the dark side. Look at Count Dooku.. He was a Jedi, then became one of the Fallen, and then trained under a SITH in the darkside of the force, hence making him the Sith Apprentice. So what if you can't become a Sith? A Sith holocron would still hold the dark side teachings. The only way to become a Sith, not counting Exar Kun's way, would to be chosen by a Sith Master to become a Sith Apprentice, and the chain of events would be the Apprentice kills the Master to become the master. So, just because you activate a Sith Holocron, doesn't make you a Sith, unless you try to claim that title. That, and I think "Dark Jedi Holocron" just sounds corny.

But who really cares anyway? Everything up here is hearsay and theories.Nothing is truely concrete. And maybe you can't piece together the shards. I personally don't think you can, but I'm confident there are such Holocrons out there now or soon will be. Some people seem to post before they really think out all of the angles. Where is the love? No need to bring everyone down once they put up a theory. Instead of trying to blow it out of the water, why not do some research to try and help back it up? We should all be here to help each other figure this out, not shoot down ideas.

You get the sith altar on the second mission for Dolac Legasi in the imp. prison. They are put in ur inventory when u kill the mission target which is a dark jedi. When u go back to get your reward Dolac Legasi put the pieces together to make a sith-holocron which he uses to find the target for the third mission, a sith lord (in this case its a dark jedi when you target her). The missions are about prisoners made wraiths by the force of the dark jedi you kill in the last mission.
