-After armor break is applied, ranged professions will outdamage melees. So, if you plan on killing something solo, being a melee with armor break could put you at an advantage.As far as loot camping goes, a good carbineerBH is probably your biggest threat.
-Sniper shot is no good for dps.
-As far as a weapon goes, there is no best. You're just going to have to look at the stats yourself and decide if it's any good.

Id persoanlly would have to say a damage capped, sac capped featherweight fwg5. Get a speed slice in it and some sac pups and I can outdamage most people regardless of template with the adrenal boost from doc. With a 47 sac you can spam specials for a long time to get the most damage.

True but do camped mobs usually last long enough for you to eat into your action pool? Seems like a damage or speed PuP and action food would give you better DPS (for a short time).

Ok, I lied earlier, I admit it. The single most damaging character you can make will be a Carbineer/SL. I would suggest speed pups for heavy camping (i.e. the guy dies quick), damage pups for slightly longer fights, sac pups for near solo fighting.
