I'm still waiting to see how the CU will do things... I reserve my opinion until then.
I think they'll probably take this in to account.

I had a discussion with one of my guildies the other day about non-decaying weapons. What we concluded was that the decay in this situation has nothing to do with condition. It's the decay that occurs when you die. This of course is very dissapointing, but it kind of makes sense...

Weapons dont decay when you clone...but armour does. Hmm, im 99% certain this is true.

I just spent about an hour reading through posts trying to find info about the non-decay reward, and this is what I found out:
- The reward can be used on all insurable items
- Weapons are not insurable items, but the reward can be used on weapons as well
- It does stop battle decay, i.e. no condition loss

if you put the anidecay reward on a legendary t21 with 1400 dmg what will happen to it after the CU conversion? I'm pretty sure all weapons (except hacks, berserkers, lightsabers, etc) will need to be converted to the new combat system.

I agree that they will convert all pre-CU weapons to the new systems. To be on the safe side, I would wait until the CU the use the kit.
When they redid the DE and droids, all my probots were changed to the new system.

if you read that post carefully..they said it does 'stop battle decay' on weapons.
in otherwords..the weapon will never lose stats or be destroyed.

Can we have a clarification about weapons?
-They can't be insured but you said that we can use the no decay item on weapons
-If that is the case, will it stop battle decay? Because they don't decay upon cloning.
In my opinion the rewards should be non-tradable but it makes no sense that you only get 1 per account. If they aren't tradable (like mark of hero ring) there's no cross-server trade problem.. yet it allows those who play on more than one server to actually enjoy the rewards.
Anyway, they should really be non-tradable: everyone is worrying about no decay items used to save the condition of exceptional weapons, but in the other hand if they are tradable one could keep a BE suit with skill mods forever.. which would once again raise the price of CAs.

-Correct. The anti-decay kit can be used on weapons.
-Yes, it stops battle decay.
As far as the items being tradable, remember you'd have to actually find people willing to part with their rewards. While there will be some people willing to do that, I don't think it will be the norm. Especially for the 6 and 12 month rewards.

Wouldnone-decay Jabba figures unbalance things at all?
As an MBH the first thought in my mind was that every Jedi is going to usethose non-decay items on thier sabers. And what of the few pre-nerf weapons out there? They'll be back in action, why wouldn't they? This item has the potential to make more trouble then good.

Lightsabers are actually containers that dont decay, and the Devs stated that the kit does not work on pearls/crystals.

- Applying an anti-decay kit to a lightsaber will prevent the crystals inside from decaying.
- You can remove the crystals.
- You can get an anti-decay kit back if you delete the lightsaber you applied it to.

Very smart idea. I'm doing the same! Why people want to use this now and not wait for the combat revamp is beyond me.
