How may i ask, is it that you solo elders?

Elders are easy to solo....

I solo'd one who pulled out a Stun Baton the other day

The only real hard thing about Elders is the bleeds they put on you - if you can heal those before they start ticking at 2k a time, you shouldn't have a problem.

All you need is high melee defence and good armour, high def vs dizzy or KD helps a lot as well- and the ability to heal bleeds quickly. And obviously to ability to do a reasonable amount of damage to them.... Rifles, Swords and Pikes with the right template can solo them easy.

Any ranged profession with energy damage can solo an elder. Bleed them, kite & keep them around 40m from you, and they will walk around letting you shoot them in the face without even laying a hand on you. Sure it might take a while longer with a Carb then a Rifleman, but its the exact same process.

Easiest way to kill the Gorax- Drag him to a Stoneskinned Hanadak or vice-versa, as soon as he area attacks peace him, this should leave the two of them fighting. Retire to a safe distance and fire at will. The Hanadak has apporx 100k HAM and 90%Kinetic resistance, just beware when it gets knockdown dizzy'd as Mr Gorax will them come at you, but as soon as you are KD Dizzy'd he should return back to the Hanadak.

If all goes well it takes me around 5-10mins with my pup'd 624 DE10 using last ditch and Torso shot, if you have a nice ADk'd Dxr6 he should go down a little quicker as i think his Acid resits are lower than energy.

its hard to kite him because he can run about as fast as a swoop, but he can be killed. I dont bother personally.

I am a big kiter myself, and since krayts are borked on bloodfin I may have to adapt my kiting technique toelders now.
