Not hard (Lvl wise). You got a set amount if time to do alot of stuff so you need to keep moving.

I would not say you need 8, we did it with 5, and that included out jedi, more then likely you wont make it the first time just cuz you are running through to find the chiss, no need to kill the animals let them un agro as you run. BTW the kkorrwrot spawns in the middle after you kill the last chiss, cant miss him he is a huge mob, with like 6 legs, awesome trophy

The pack has no bonuses or stats, but yes, its an eye-catcher.
Those 3 "gold things on the back" that people mentioned in this post are actually lights - they exude a golden glow. I get asked about my pack all the time more than anything else except maybe the carbine I have.
The former poster is correct. Its a very long quest ending in the Hracca glade on a 30 minute time trial massacre. You'll either need a fairly serious group to complete this or a few Jedi.
You not only end up with the backpack, but you do get a trophy head of the Khorrwrot (sp?) of the beast at the end of the trial (looks like a massive head of a mix between Alien and the Predator), and a badge added to your character that reads "...has successfully hunted and killed the Khorrwrot of the Hracca Glade on Kashyyyk".
Long quest, and difficult, but very cool.
