to my understanding, no black sun on endor spawn(or even drop anything, if they do spawn)....i'd reccomend yavin, though i hear dath spawns and drops.

I looted some boots on Dath the other day. I have seen some on Endor... a while back by one of the ewok villages.
The reason I as about the jetpack base is one of the guides mentioned that it was not looted inside the bunker, but from Suns that spawn randomly outside. I guess outside could be anywhere.
#1, like the BH loot guid says, use a mount or x34 since they are slow and if you fly past them too fast, they wont spawn b/c they wont register on your map in the short time your there.
The first time, I goto the mining outpost and start running along the coast towards the northwest mountain. I kill any low level mob lairs (im impatients and dont bother w/ kliknick, angler... or anything like that, I just go with the mamiens, gacklebats, stintril lairs. Kill everything til you hit the top of the map, go halfway up the mountain while hugging the map boundary, when you get about halfway up, circle the mountain until you hit the top boundary again. As you continue west on the map boundary, youll get to another river. Do the same thing you did along the initial river, killing lairs (i found 3 of my 6 spawns here). When you get to the bottom of this river, head east until you get to the oroginal river you were on. Go down to the MO, and repeat so hopefully clearing all those lairs will spawn some.
The 2nd round, I dont bother killing lairs since im not gonn make another pass.
well, 6 spawns, 1 was bugged and as soon as i spacked the assassin, all 3 despawned. I only got one chest plate from all those though.

They don't "spawn" at the Ewok tree village, as it is...
If you take a closer look, you'll notice that the ewok tree village is around -100 -200 or so correct?
Well, If a creature gets lost from any bunker, cave, etc, it will warp to 0, 0. So, anything you find there will drop what it normally would in the bunker. AKA the Death Watch might drop the protective coating, but the black sun will not drop the base or armor.
