Just remember it is a 50 "charge" item, with a timer (I think that it was 72 hours).

as anyone else noticed they have nerfed the hero's quest rez ring and put a uses amount on it

I have had mine for ages and it always had 50 uses I believe.

from day 1 when that quest started the ring always had a number of uses on it, what was cool is that uused to be able to trade them, until they nerfed that like everything else in the game.

You can still trade them by marrying someone, I did it recently. Not exactly the type of trade I prefer, but hey

they must of fixed that part then...tried a trade by marriage a few months ago and wouldnt allow the ring to be done that way.

tried the droid thing also..i have a alt character on the same server who is a girl and i tried marrying myself to switch the ring over and tried the droid trick with no luck. like i said this was a couple of months ago and was probably bugged at the time.

The person receiving the ring must propose. If you have the ring, and try to propose, it won't work.

This has always been this way from the start. You only get 50 self resurrections (on a 23 hour timer). The only item in the game that has unlimited resurrection abilty is the Rez arm and that is on a hour timer or somthing like that.
Your only other option is the be a Master enhancer in Jedi. You can self rez as many times as you want as long as you have force
