Exact same template here. I was getting beat down and incapped very quickly against the trando. Fortunately there were some TKMs in the room and they tanked while I got up and healed. I tried 3x to engage them solo, but always wound up needing help. I was lucky there were people around to assist. I tried overwhelming shot and to apply states, but that trando seemed pretty resistant to anything I could fire at him.
Myself, and a group of 2 others did this mission when it first went live.
Here's some of the loot we got:
Carbine (i forget what type, as i don't use carbines)
Trandoshan Stun Stick (looks like a Stun Baton)
DL44 "Dosh Special" Pistol (looks like a DL44 Metal XT pistol, and has great stats.)
sorry, but only remember that the pistol was great, as i'm a pistol guy myself. unsure how the carbine and the stun baton stack up.

He's red to a level 80, so 83-84. I didn't get a good look at him because we were grouped and dropped him fast.
Devs,if you make the target require a group for most people totake down, the quest reward should NOT be a drop. I didn't getloot from the boss because we were on grouploot. If that WAS the reward then maybe you should think about playing the game sometime and seeing how things work in a group dynamic.
