Pearls are for sabers, the same as crystals. My comment was, Pearls are going to become very rare. Jedi will rely on crystls, clears I expect because pearls won't be as abundant.

As it looks on the test center, kryats will be lvl 250+ so it will take at least 4 lvl 80's to fight one. However, if this turns out to be like EQ (and it appears that way) they should be fairly easy for a larger group to woop. But I hope you can trust your partners, because the price of these pearls will probably skyrocket pretty quick.
Jedi: A word to the wise. Conserve. Offer deals. There should be somethings that only jedi can do that you can trade for pearls.

You have Master Looter, where YOU get the loot, nobody else. That's why you pay.......sometimes you come up with a moldy scale, sometimes you get a pearl.....
As long as you remember to not let anyone you hired loot, then you have no worries. You pays them their credits, they goes away happy. Just make it understood that you're on a loot hunt, and they're NOT entitled to any of it, only what you offer to pay.
I find it refreshing, really.......it eliminates the uber-looters, lets other less powerful players have some fun at hunting, and the loot hunt organizer still gets the spoils, just not on his own, and for free.

I think the Devs sorely underestimate the tenacity of their playerbase.
If there's a loophole that'll allow soloing of Krayts or Nightsisters, they'll/we'll find it.
