killed me a tusken executioner not more than a week ago... took me 10minutes but got some +25 2h speed tusken boots off of him... he's my best friend now... even if he is dead

Pathetic as it is I am going to tell a story...Myself and one other attempted to kill a NS elder. Ha. After two deaths each by her hands, we came back and finally struck the finishing blow. The loot...absolutely NOTHING. What a joke.

LOL, I can't remember the name, anyway, We spent a good half hour killing this turkey, and only got 328
credits.
Yes, the devs need to work on giving us Better loot, and PLEASEEEE devs...make it LOOK Different
instead of making everything look the same... *rolls eyes*
Oh, and Congrats on killing the Tuskian Observer.

Rare loot is rare loot, guys......if a Krayt Ancient dropped a super-duper quality pearl every time one was killed, they wouldn't be rare, now, would they.....or Exeptional items, if they dropped like flies, everyone would have one.
Personally, I've seen the rate of drop (in dungeons, anyway) at a rate of 1 to 10/11 kills. I think that's fair enough. If you want to loot uber stuff, be prepared to uber fight. There isn't a game I've played yet that the NPC's dropped the good stuff quickly, easily, and regularly......and I'm going WAY back here.
Half the value of a killer loot is the price, right? If every NS, every Krayt, and every Tusken dropped uber loot, the value would be nothing. You'd be seeing Exceptional Pearls on the bazaar for 4k credits.
As far as groups go, I guess I'm lucky. When I go group hunting, it's with a few friends I know well, we pick a leader, he issues the orders, we follow. Maybe some people don't get that idea, so it'd be best to find another group of friends to hunt with, eh?

I don't even try for ubers unless there is no lesser counterpart. If I can get 2 x +10 of something, chances are I will get 20 of various other kinds in the personnal quest to do it and take far less time. Unless SWG introduces a bio tab for kills, saying you flattened 30 NS elders is just unproven bragging. That leaves bounty.

I killed the observer the other day & got 3k credits so I guess I was lucky lol
raped my armour bigtime.

This is morbid. SOE is trying to standardize our weapons, well, here you go. Make the uber weapons more accessible. The players that are getting these weapons are the ones that have multiple accounts. They have a pure crafter to make the credits, then they have a pure combatant who takes those credits and buys the uber weapons. A single account player gets hosed...

I have been playing SWG for a bit more than 3 months and i have only 1 account.Iam a loot-hunter,complete soloer.But want to know what?I have everything i need.I have a good gun, yes its adk'ed, i have enough credits to say that im not poor and to buy me whatever i need.And i never needed second account with a crafter - guy.Ofcourse, i dont make money by doing missions in a solo-group,and it wasn't easy at first... i had to constantly do easy mobs, camp in Aakuan cave etc.But now im able to solo pretty much whatever i want (ofcourse not Ancients) and get really good loot.Its not easy now too , sometimeao igot a run of 27 Elders without even a crystal , or any drop worth more than 5 k, i still hope that was some bug-time.
But,hey!What do i hear?Do i get it correct?Some guy ,who is probably one of those who go to NS stronghold to kill 1 Elder with a group of 6 players as a guild-hunt or a special event,one of tose who sell their precious ADK's because they can't manage to get 10 mil in any other way,one of those whothink a 5mil-weapon is GOODtells us, that what i do is not real, that i must be stopped just because he isn't good enough to do the same.And there are hundreds of similar ones wih him.
Oh,well,whinning seems to help.The whinnig-ones win again.Be at ease Zodiac-B,you will eventually get your combat upgrade, where the people like me will most likely be gone,and you will at last feel better with less diversity and less perspectives for talanted players.

pfft, you think you got it bad, i killed tusken excecutioners for 3 months with no drops. Finally, i get both the uber rare stone AND the tusken head from one excecutioner! When i go to trade them in for the lithium carbine and rifle, poof, the guy takes them and i get nothing back. I sent a ticket to a CSR, but he claims he cannot restore the item. BULL CRAP!!! He could easily restore both of them, i dunno why he wouldnt. But anyway, if he thinks im gonna go kill excecutioners for 3 more months to get what i already got, he can go screw himself.

I'd agree with all that Shukin.
Only part I don't agree with is no solo in CU. I played a bit on test server and other than the icons were fat and unappealing and will take getting used to again (I hope that allow for classic icon option), I didn't see anything that suggested I couldn't solo.
All the combat conditions on test suggest that generic chars are going to die alot but there will be uber weaps, uber armor, ca's and aa's, buffs that will actually jump us over current doc buff. Standard for CU doc buff is 20%. Keep in mind, standard for current doc buffs was 1K and docs dug at thier chars and got that to 2600. So it is possible CU doc buff standard will be 20% and cap uber will be 50% allowing them to buf us to 4500 at master. Vercupti still adds a 1K hit to all 3 and it can be used in 2 doses, that's a possible 2K mini buff.
If your a generic char now, with base 10 exper point armor unsliced, a typical weap the chances of you soloing many of the kills ubers solo is zero. That is no option now and won't be in CU I assume. Once we get a feel for the system and know our power points, I doubt this will be anything new at all. If SOE thinks chars are going to take more than a month to find the boundaries, they really need to get into a new line of work.
I don't mind grouping but I don't want to obligated to it. If I come on to play for 3 hours and spend 2 and a half ramming around trying to make things happen I will be heading for greener pastures too. SOE must know they can't jam things down our throats, they aint the boss, we are. We pay thier wages remember? Give them some faith and assume this is going to work. If it doesn't remember what your here for. It's a game, meant to be fun and there are a million more just like it. They all want your money.
