But what should ours (Currently only Volley Fire, Steady Aim and Group Terrain Negotiation) do?
Group terrain negotiation does exactly what it should, except that there are many reports that it works for anybody, you don't need to be Squad Leader to use it.
The volleyfire modifier, in my oppinion, should reduce the cooldown of the command. (Increasing damage sounds tempting, but i fear that it would soon be seen as overpowered and then be nerfed. This would then be a move back to square one, except that we then have the need to have the SEAs just to be able to use it any more, without them it would be weaker than what we got now. Thus i vote against damage upgrade and for shorter cooldown.)
On steadyaim, on the other hand, it bootst accuracy of the team and the modifier should increase the bonus given to the team, i would say. (With diminuishing returns, this won't be unbalanced. It's just as if the whole team ate some of the accuracy food... ) Anyways, it only makes sense if it is not removed at first attack any more. (If Devs insist on still making it break at first attack, it must have something like +100% damage on one shot or something like that. Even the "critical" stuff is not good enough, i did some testing on critical hit sliced weapons, the effect is nice but not as big as it first sounds like...)
Should we get any more, say for the rest of our SL only skills? Group Melee Def, Group Burst Run, Group Ranged Def?
None for retreat, i would say. I have no idea what it should actually do, except reducing action costs... and on what i want to be done with the ability, action costs would be minimal, anyways. (So it can actually be used for retreat instead of charge, like it at the moment does. I still believe in "minimal action costs, massive action regeneration debuff" is the way to go.)
For the group defences, i wouldn't mind if such tapes would be available. Though, if that shouldn't turn into a big laughing-parade, our own modifiers first have to be enhanced a lot. With a total of +30 at the moment as master, another +25 from skilltapes makes us more of tape-carriers than squad leaders. (And for a bonus, why not having the bug from the group terrain negotiation in it, so everybody can use it? Then people can choose between one random guy with lots of cash for a +25 or a MSL for +30? )
So, if the +5 modifiers from the master box suddenly convert into +25 so we offer a total of +50 of defences AND the tapes really only work for SLs, i would support them to be available.
