/bump because it still doesn't make any sense that people can sell 60 of these at a time, every few days.
Does anybody know?
Dark troopers drop alot of them. I can get like 8 in 45-60 min on average.

The 3-4 times I have been there, there have been people running macros while AFK for hours down there as well. I think they should attempt to stop these kind of acts. I might as well spend some time writing some macros and never turn my computer off. It all but ruins the value of anything they are looting for everyone in the long run.
Complain enough about the AFK looting, and the devs will remove the Dark Trooper drops exactly like they removed the Aakuan loot drops.
So, in the interest of what little loot we have left in this game...just get a group and outdamage them.

Why is that even possible in this game though? Is the coding needed for something else and just so happens to be able to be used in a negative way? I've seen people down there (usually the same people) for hours at a time getting loot and faction points. Then they turn around sell their faction points, the loot and head right back down. I suppose its possible that it could be coincidence that they happen to be there only when I am but I doubt it. If that is the way SOE thinks a problem should be fixed (by just eliminating the reward for going to that place all together) then that is truly sad.
The use of recursive macros is the issue...and until those are removed (if ever), there will be AFK looters, grinders, spammers, etc.
They can be outdamaged usually, so they pose no problems for me. Rumor has it that you can report people for excessive AFK looting, but I have heard mixed results with that.
Again, like we witnessed with the Aakuan cave and Borgle cave...SOE might take a broom approach to the issue if people complain enough again.
