oh btw...i found your bantha doll still stained from your tears

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

/rofl that is frigging funny yo go Cergo.

I camp Nyax all the time you have the guns come outdamage me.

I also get the times for the batboxs and go by there when there about to pop.

When I need faction and or Holocrons I go to the WDF when I feel like doing something else I do it.

People you go somewhere it's camped and you can't beat them move on like another guy said there are 3 million things to do in game why the hell do you all whine about one or two places.

And if I hear I just want to kill him once one more time I'm going to puke. If you want to kill him only once set your alarm for like 3-4 in the morning get up every day and go there until you find no one there. Then kill him and if he gives you a +20 Armor Experimentation tape please leave after that cause you only wanted to kill him once right?

My gut tells me after you get that really good tape and no one else is there you won't leave you'll stay and kill him until someone else comes along and outdamages you.

And no thats not rocket science that's human nature........

Death-by-Beezer

ps: when I get outdamaged at nyax i move on cause there are many many many more places to loot he just happens to be easy pickins for a rifleman.

pps: What I think is even funnier is when people come to nyax and start that whinning I just want to kill him once bs. If there a pikemen i usual say ok and watch nyax shread them up and kill them very funny. Then I never see these people again and don't have to listen to them whine about only wanting to kill him once.

Area Disruption is defined as any activity, intentional or unintentional, which harms or inconveniences a larger number of players. Causing a disruption may result in disciplinary action being taken against the account that may include official warnings, account suspensions, or account terminations depending on the severity of the incident which will be determined by a CSR and a CSR Supervisor. Multiple suspensions or account termination will result in the termination of all SOE game accounts.

Disruption includes, but is not limited to, such things such as:

  • Deliberately blocking a doorway or narrow area so other players cannot get past.
Making excessive and inappropriate use of spatial communications, i.e. spamming.

  • Placing any object (such as pets, droids, structures, city facilities) which prevent access to game content (anything in the game, including city structures, houses, caves, mission terminals, etc.) or trap other customers.
  • Using graphics intensive weaponry to duel in high traffic areas*
  • Organizing, holding, or participating in protests held in high traffic areas (such as busy Starports or other areas where many players normally gather).

Now with that above being "cast in stone" on the SOE site. The question of Camping is by definition in breach of said Rules and Guidelines. http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/content.jsp?page=Policies Community Standards.

Therefore to all who camp and dont consider it an exploit or "braking a rule" you may want to re-read theses Policies and the TOS, EULA, or however you may refer to this document(s). It is a clear violation of the agreement that we all "accept" when we log in.

So to this end I too feel "cheated" by campers but if the CSR's are to fairly and sternly enforce set policies we will have to endure or not.

That's my $0.02 worth .

good...i'll give you $0.23 so that you can call someone who cares...now i hope all you people that cried and whined about people camping are happy that he is back on a 3 hour 40min timer...that just doubled the cost of all aa/ca dropped by him. so cry more now.

i never really noticed a drop in prices. If there was one it wasn't very much. I did notice a rise in ca/aa sales though. Seems that the nyax campers were making out like bandits.

AFK Camping Lord Nyax for SEAs has hurt the game in my opinion. SeeingI am on a server where one person with a couple of his Alts camped LordNyax 24/7 and it would take anywhere from 4-5 people to outdamage them I'm glad its back to its original timer. Now I believe everyone willhave a better chance to face ol Nyax and get loot for themself. On thing would be if he was as Elder but c'mon I can beat him unbuffed. Doesn't make sense to have someone get these uber SEAs so easily and be able to camp there all day long.

no...in fact it will be worse

people will wait for a spawn...then figure the time til the next spawn...the log in 20min prior to buff up and make it there in time. they have only made the problem worse with this...before you could go with a group and outdamage some people for a few runs...then leave...now...its retarded...it goes back to...who has the best weapon and who can time it best...and this leaves it SOO open for a jedi to run in and steal it since he can now hit and run nyax every almost 4 hours.

While you're at it, I mean, reading the rules, how about we stop the spam also.

This game has no effective policy over AFK camping/attacking, so stop crying about it, c'mon I never saw anyone crying over someone camping Meatlumps all day.

If you're complaining about Nyax camping, it's because you want a share too, so stop crying over it, ask your guild to step down and kill nyax and share your loot with you 20 guildies, after all, you just wanted to kill him aiiiggghhht?

Please look at the post subject. It says "AFK camping Lord Nyax is it or isn't it against the rules?" I have to honestly admit that I do not know the answer to this question. However, I would assume that, no, it is not. I also do not believe that the rules quoted ina previous comment do notconcern AFKcamping at all. Ibelieve that it is not against the rules.

Now I would like to introduce another question to this discussion which, although it has not been explicitly asked, seems to be thequestion addressed in many of these comments: is AFK camping Lord Nyax morally right?

There are arguments for both sides. The predominating reason that AFK campers give for their actions is that they have earned the right to AFK camp with their exceptional weapons because of the time spent looting orearning the money for these weapons. Certainly they deserve special privileges because they own these weapons. If I owned a weapon of that quality (which I do not) I would expect a certain amount of respect from other looters, butwould I deserve to basically "own" a loot spawn evenwhen I am not even playing the game?

Those that believe AFK camping is morally wrong argue that these campers limit the gameplay of the other individuals in the game. This is obviously true, because, if others cannot loot a spawn, whether it be Lord Nyax or Meatlumps, they are limited in their gameplay options. However, to force the elite to give up what they have, or what theyare capable of obtaining, for the sake of others on a lower level would certainly not be fair to the elite.

The AFK campers are obviously capable of AFK camping and will continue to do so. This debate, however much the tempers flare, will most likely not change anything. Although I personally believe that players should not be allowed access to content like this while being away from their keyboard, I understand that most players who doAFK campwill refuse to change. I can only be content in hoping that the Combat Upgrade will change things. Power is an attractive force, and goes beyond the scope of this simple game.
