I bought a fish display on teh bazaar a few weeks ago so its not new. though i'll be holdong on to my schematic of the display fish forever since im no chef to make it.

I have looted 3 of these. Display Fish Schematics.

It has taken me 2 weeks to find a Chef to make it for me. I have yet to get the completed piece finished. They do require about 30 fish to make, their could be more, but that was all that the chef I passed them onto commented on.

I looted them in the Bestine "Slums" (just West-ish of the Clone Center, still in city limits).

I believe it was just some Desert Demons that I was killing.I'll do my best to get back to you all with a waypoint and verify the NPC's.

Confirmed. Head west from the Bestine starport and go through that Slum area, as soon as you come out the other side there are static spawns of desert swoopers and named NPCs. The ones you want are the lvl 3 Named NPCs. They have no title after the name. I got 4-5 each of the pitchers and trophy fish within an hour there.

The display fish schems require 30 fish meat and 10-25 polymer (can't remember exactly off hand, but it wasn't a lot).

How do these look in a house? Do they lie side-down (which is what I'm assuming from the "examine" screen), or do they sit vertical so you can "wall mount" them? How big are they?

I'm glad someone popped in with info on where to loot them. I was starting to wonder if they spawned directly on the bazaar, since that was the only place I heard of anyone finding one.

Unless it's changed from Test, it lies on is side, curving up. It's not that big, and is really rather unspectacular, but pretties is pretties.
