I think it'd be cool if we all could get some eyewear and not just SE and jap version owners...Give SE owners more choices and regulars a few craftable eyewears.I'd like to have something that would fit a Jedi for instance.


Dunno if SE owners would agree with me or not but I'm just speaking my mind

I would actually like to buy >>ANY<< SE version but being in Europe I'm once again shunned.

I wouldn't mind buying a key for the American AND Japanese version.

Sweet. If I remember correctly the SE goggles were so people had "SE exclusive eyewear." I liked the idea that people who bought the SE could be ID'ed by the special goggles. This game needs new eyewear for everyone. Starting with those neat Japanese ones. More headwear would be nice too.

I Bought the Commando Edition of SWG from Japan.


Here is what I found. You can apply the Registation Code to your American Regular Account and get the 3 Japanese Eye wear. I could not get the Upgrade to work formy Special Collectors Edition. Itwill give you the Invalid Regestation Key error. The Commando Edition and Collectors Edition are not compatible. It is possible that the JTL beta codes was the mess up but I think it reconized these 2 editions as the same.


I used the code to Upgrade my non-Collectors Edition Account and bingo. Using the /SEGoggles command in game will load the Japanese Eyewear. I also got the Flashspeeder on this account when using it.


How did I get this? I have a Japanese contact that found a copy and purchased it. I know not where she found it but I suspect Ebay Japan.

I was worried when I added it on because my account page still just said Collector's Edition, which I already had.

I added the key and it let me. The other guy said the page told him the key was invalid.

So, I logged in and sho nuff - /segoggles produced all 6 goggles

My account status now and before was:

I received mine today. I already had the flashspeeder and SE Edition. I was able to add the Commander Box key to my main account and when I do /segoggles, all 6 appear. US and Japanese.

/flashspeeder still works as well.

Okay, so it seems there are some conflicting reports here. I plan on ordering this Commander BOX soon, but I want to be 100% sure it will work on my account which is . . .

I have had mine since thursday of last week, I asked them to e-mail me the reg code. Got the physical box today.
I did not have the american collectors edition, but I had all the rest.

If you require further proof send me a message I could allways make a new charcter on your server log in put on the glasses smile and log out. Its a lot of fun to have them accually, cuz you figure what on all us/euro servers their are maby 10 accounts with the the japneese glasses. Probly more ppl would notice but no one ever looks down to see me.
