Publish 23 changes the padawan robe.

It now has a buff effect, nothing to argue about that.

But how about the fact that in now has a requirement of CL 15??

Lets say im a Non combat player Cl 1-14. How Im I supposed to wear the robe? And as a part ot the Padawan trials you have to craft your lightsabre. And since you are jedi initiate you dont have enough force power to craft it without wearing your robe.

you can't make it thru the padi trials without combat skills, as serveral of the trials involve killing.

and you don't get the robe till you pass the trials, so this is a non issue. and it takes no force to craft your training saber.

The odds of any jedi being a CL-15 or mroe are remote. With VERY rare exception, almost everyone is switching from a normal combat profession to Jedi. There is little point in a Jedi crafter. Also, I don't think you get the robe until AFTER you complete all your padawan trials (and crafting the lightsaber is NOT the last trial).

WRONG

You can do the padawan trials as a non-combatant.

My roomie had cl8 when she started padawan trials. She came through

For an example

Master bio-enginer and Master dancer you have Cl 8

The different parts in padawan trials are somewhat random. I recieved my robe before i had to craft my saber. And besides that i think your forcepower cost is to low to craft your saber without wearing the robe. Atleast I got the message, not enough forcepower. I think it was on the part when i had to craft focusing crystals.

Then you grind out a couple of boxes so you can use it. That will take you all of 20 minutes.

As far as SP uses go, I'm sorry but Jedi is a combat profession, you are expected to have combat skills to progress.

And as far as progressing on the trials goes, your friend didn't solo those trials at that level. Completely impossible. Baz Nitch and Sludge Panthers would own anyone at that level, unless they spend a week per creature. And if she had help with the trials, then fair enough, but you wownt get far as a Jedi with0 combat skills.

I'm a master BE with no other combat skills at all and I'm CL17.

Ok, I must take you on your word, I took that example just looking at www.bloodfin.org profession calculator.

But there must be other combinations that makes your CL go below 15.

I did the Padawan trials at a CL of...REALLY LOW. I didn't kill any of the things I was suppose to, because I don't have the ability to do so. Luckily I had friends willing to come out and help me. I think I was CL 8 or something when I did the Malechite part of the trials. I'm CL 19 now, because I've been taking up Ranger, but I'm basically just a Tailor. So my CL is very very low. I don't see Jedi as a combat class, I'm not going to be happy if I can't still wear my robe if I drop my combat skills.

I rarely wear the robe because I don't want visibility, but occationally I do like to put it on, and go swing my lightsaber at nunas out in the middle of no where. Stuff I can kill at level less then 15. Sure it's going to take FOREVER to advance but that's not the issue. I want to still be able to wear my robe. It looks great for a Jedi wedding, and if I get visibility and have to die a few times...no big deal. No XP to lose anyways.

It's my understanding that wearing the robe doesn't give visibility, although equipping/unequipping around people or NPCs will give vis.
