As title says, is it possible soloing general Grievous? What template do you need?

yes...im stuck here too.


I want to solo...but i doubt you can. Maybe a Master Defender/ Master Healer

I did it, before and after pub 19. Yes i'm a jedi. He's pathetically easy now if you group, its kind of ridiculous.


[edit] as for jeditemplate: MLS, MDef, 4040 Healer, or the variant 3000 healer (yes those are 1k heals) and 2 boxes in enhancer. No holo used


And as for ranged: I'm seeing some nasty Rifleman/BH/Combat Medic templates that can disable the victim from ever attacking and have uber heals.


As for melee: ATeras Kasi w/ COB, Swords Dance, and proper medic techniques are great tanks, sometimes better than a Jedi. As for damage dealing, i'm not sure what the above templates are capable of dealing, but they should hold their own, possibly, if used in conjuction w/ Doc buffs and the health crystal.

i did it pre pub 19. twice.


master defender/master sabers with some healer and a holo was all it took.

if your a master cm and use electrolyte drain maybe with a knockdown after the guards are dead and you can repeat the drain and knockdown you could solo him after alot of kiting and reapplying of the drain...but i still wouldnt try it unless i had someone there to rez me just in case lol

Actually if I am not mistaken it is GENERAL GREVIOUS. Treun Lorn specifically said he found the parts of the body and broght him back to life. This would explain him droping a grevious starfighter deed lol. Now NK-Necrosis is the name that Truen Lorn gave him. And I once thought they were different people. But after doing all the quests for the Cyborg guy in the wookie village and listnen to Truen talk about it. I think its the remains of Grevious brought back to life. No 100% but about 90%. I dont think their is much to say its not him. There is more info supporting it than turning it away though, thats for sure.

Oh btw sorry for double post. yes it is possible to Solo. I was in a group with a full templete jedi and watched him solo him. He had a droid out and used the droid to attack and I dont know if he got necro stuck on something or what but he was throwing his LS at him over and over and over and necro did no dmg to the droid or the jedi and he did it fairly quick. So yes it is possible very possible lol. but you have to figure out the trick to it lol... And I didnt think you could take out droids in their before but apparently you can.

i dont think its grievous because putting him back together would be kind of impossible, due to the fact hes also part alien and has living organs and such under his robotic parts.
