I just killed about 25 Krayts and the only thing i got are Scales, Tissues and Armor Segments. Before Pub 13.1 i never got Armor Segments, but Pearls. It seems that everytime the krayt would have dropped a pearl in 13.0 now drops Armor Segments instead... anyone else got the same problem?

13,1 came out today righT??

I know that 1 week ago i killed 26 canyons/giants and prolly about 20 juvi's as well

(in 2 days) and i got 1 pearl !

So i'd presume you're just being unlucky

all the other people around me were getting pearls tho... but i got 1 out of 50 rofl!

i was so sad

a guildmate just killed 30 krayts and got none pearl. yesterday (before patch) every 4th Krayt dropped a pearl

I killed about 200 juvys this morning... NO pearls... Tons of segments

Dev 1: Too many pearls are being looted by loot hunters.

Dev 2: Well, we can't have that - let's go ahead and clamp shut their drop rate - THAT'LL teach those looters!!!

Looters: YAY! They nerfed pearl drops, the XXX premiums I've looted and saved are worth 5 mill flat again!

For what it's worth, my friends and I have been noticing this and we tried to get attention paid to the lack of pearls. In the past week or so, all told we have killed around 70 krayts, 95% of 'em ancients. No pearls off of ANY krayt. And the scales, segments, and tissues were awful. Mostly base or just barely above.

A couple nights before this patch went live, some of those ancients were spawned by a QA after we complained about the lack of pearls or good loot in 50 or so kills. She said she looted a couple nice things, but no pearls. Still, she thought we had bad luck.

This is unfortunate because my friends are greedy jebi and strongly covet flawless pearls.

Spent five hours hunting Krayts after todays patch..

I am prolific and have killed over 50 Canyon or Giants and probably more Juves..

I have looted 3 sets of unremarkable tissues and ZERO pearls.. Was at the stage where I would get either nothing or comp segments.

I'm a Ranger and for months would happily hunt down Krayts when they where rare. They turned up the spawn rate by a tonne.. and now decide that too many Pearls are getting looted...

Simple - TURN DOWN THE SPAWN TO WHERE IT WAS BEFORE - DON'T MAKE KRAYTS NOT WORTH KILLING

Hmmm, if their dropping alot more tissues, Does this mean the price of good tissues is gonna drop??
I just am looking positive I prefer tissues to pearls anyways. only thing I would do with a pearl is sell it.

its totally screwed us looters tbh

pre krayt population explosion, pearls worth 5 mil or more, looters not too happy, after patch, plenty of krayts, decent drops, pealrs worth 1-2 mil, looters satisfied (ish)

ANTI DECAY KITS: nobody WANTS pearls anymore

pealrs uber rare: loots nerfed - pearls still not worth as much as before, why? cos nobody wants or needs them

and you'll be lucky to find one anyway...
