if it has been disabled? Like going from 1500 condition to 1400 or something.

Can anyone verify or claim it wrong?

Confirmation #2. Repaired my BARC from being totally disabled at a player city garage post pub-18 and it went right back to 1500. However, the condition DID drop when I went in for a regular repair at a garage when it just needed a tune up.

It's only happened to one of mine, and that was pre-pub 18. They may have fixed it so that the condition doesn't ever drop below 1500 now, which seems to be the case, as I've fixed it several times in a row without anything happening.

The Barc speeder does not decay in the sense that it's maximumhit pointswill ever go below 1500.

Whenever you call your vehicle it will do a tick though (calling a BARC or AV21 reduces the hit points by 8), and you can whip it out at a garage and repair it faster than the tick will happen, hence you see the message "your vehicles condition has changed since you repaired.

Really?
Hmm I repaired it quite often at garages (player cities and NPC cities) and it is still at 1500.

I should have taken a screenie. I know for certain that mine dropped to something like 1480 or something, because I physically had to turn around and drive back to the garage when I realized that my vehicle condition had changed. I thought it might just be a fluke, so I checked the HAM, and it had, indeed, dropped. Since it's explosion the other night, and since pub-18 hit, I haven't had it happen again.

Max Hit points should not drop

Sometimes when you repair any vehicle at a garage...you might repair it just as the decay ticks. You will then get a message on-screen saying that it has decayed since your last repair or something like that. Very minor loss of hitpoints...but you can repair it again to max which should never drop.

Where do ya'll see the speeder's condition or 1500? I have two BARC speeders andboth since they were in deed form. When I examine them the only thing I've ever seen is the remaining time for the speeder customization. I've never seen anything about condition.

Target your speeder then hover your mouse over its "health" bar.

I just got my BARC on sat. night. I've repaired it allot since and have had no decay in the condition.

On a side note, I got a bit spooked when it was disabled but then I read about the BARC repair kits. They tend to cost around 200k to 350k so, when this comes up for you (and it will) it's best to have the resources needed to make them and hand them off to an Artisan. Ask them to make a few for you and tip them 50k each for their time. Even better, give them an equal amount of resources as payment. That way your only paying with yourtime, not credits.

The resources needed are space mined.

750 Carbonaceous Asteroid

750 Petrochemical Asteroid

From what I've been reading on the Artisan forums, the asteroids seem a bit tapped and that's why the prices are high. Also, there's a bug that will let you fix your BARC's free at a garage. I haven't tested this (i'm in no hurry to get my barc disabled again) but anyway you look at it, the bug will get fixed and these resources are valuable and a great way to make some cash or stock up on BARC repair kits.

Ok to start I am an artisan and once the bug is fixed I can guarantee you that you will be wishing to buy a repair kit for 350k. We are suffering from this whole SEA market and no one is spending all their fat cat cash on anything. If you have a friend then maybe they will make you the repair kits, but I for one would want more than 50k for my time to craft something, even if you have the resources. If you have the resources then you grind out artisan and make your kits, that will only cost a few million in resources not to mention the agony of time. I swear the way you combantants think about crafters is rediculous. It is like us coming to you for an escort to check our harvesters you you saying, "well that will cost X. Oh but wait I have a gun for you to use to protect us can't you just do it for free?"
Use your mellon for more than a piggy bank and loosen your purse straps instead of destroying the Shadowfire economy.
