Thread: Binairy Liquid and Protective Liquid Coating drops

On Tarquinas we have not been able to make a single piece of mando due to no drops of these two items. If others from a different server could give us an idea of how many trips it takes to get a loot of these components I would be very grateful.

probably not that high, but i'd say roughly 1:100
it was easier to do back when 0,0 still spawned, but even then it took me 3 buff sessions or more to get just one.
now, i've soloed my way to rageons room to camp the wraith for 9 buff sessions with no results

How the hell do you get past the room with 4 battle droids? Is my first question. my second is, does that room drop anything worth it? I know you didnt get anything, but is there a chance of stuff dropping in there? And last question, what is your template?

I've looted a protective coating and a binary liquid each in the past 2 weeks

how many trips and how many drops? Or better yet, how many hours/kills and how many drops?

Drop rate is probably 1:500 or so. It's really really low.

MBH/rifles, medic 1000
two methods, pick whichever you prefer:
1) kill the sbd, then agro all 4 BDs, drag them up the sloping corridor, then burst run through to rageons room. the BDs will get stuck in their own room as they chase you.
pros: fast, easy, black sun wont agro you immediately as you already have a ton of agro on you
cons: locked in combat, so you cant pull things out of crates etc
2) kill the sbd, conceal shot the 2 far BD's, then just take on the 2 BD's by themselves. you'll need a powerful DXR (mine is 575max unpupped) and a ton of powerups
pros: not locked into combat
cons: black sun will start shooting you as they spawn
there are 5 black sun spawns there, 2 bloodguards and 1 wraith... much richer pickings than the 6 black sun out there. no mando components, but plenty of de-10 and misc.
my only problem is the bleeds. these guys stack bleeds that are worse than elders (i've had a 2k bleed and a seperate 1k bleed that knocked me out cold.
i use 90% armour and ADK psg

i recently looted a protective coating off the wraith in the 1st key room
was about my 10th wraith kill ever too 
oh and i heard that the liquids were a 1% drop rate

Hmmm, at what point does Mando Loot start dropping? I might get me a partner or two and just camp there. I am master swordsman/doc and am thinking another tank and a jedi would make a nice team to do it.

I was in a group last night, on tarq, that got a binairy Liquid drop. It was off a Wraith,I think, close to the mines. Think this same group will be making a Mando helm run pretty soon, because they said they already had the Protectivce liquid coating. I wasjust a tag along in the group, it was mostly made up of an Oasis crew, very organized.

i think i've done 20+ trips and dont recall anyone in the group looting one of those components ever. these are the real dwb runs mind you...not camping runs...so maybe that affects it.

my group has crafted 7 jetpacks in the last week so this means
7 full on runs.. we messed around in a few of them and went fast
in others but in every run i make sure that we hit every dwb that
comes anywhere near us..
yesterday we did 4 full on runs and i looted protective covering on the
very last run. i also looted a binary liquid a week back so i am set to
make my 2nd mando piece.
i have looted 3 in total (bought one for helm
)
1) in Room key A (this is an uber place to camp, near to the entrance and
spawns a large amount of DW. the idea here is to lure the 3 DW from the 2 \
doors opposite the key dorr as well as alerting security which will spawn
7 or so DW bloodgaurds and the key dropper. times between reset are 10 mins
of door alarm and 4 mins between respawns in the 2 rooms so take ur time)
ive never done this but it sounds good
2) in the passage leading to the room down to where the loot bin and the key
room B is
3) in Key Room B.
this could give u an idea as to how to chill or where to watch out for on usual
hunts... ive been going religiously for a month now so if u not very prepared to be
patient and ur group doesnt understand the fact that they will not get a liquid
considering the rarity of those pieces ur screwed
