I'm kinda ticked that I got 3k reb faction when I did it, and now they're giving a fancy xwing holo. I want the holo!!

Read the patch notes for the 12th of May, they're fixing it

Yeah read they are fixing it as well... but no where does it say that those of us that got the pointy end of a sword in the you know what.. are going to get reimbursed for it less you saw a different patch message then i did.

I got the armor--and no holo. I would happily trade that 3k faction for the holo (even though we were supposed to get both). Others got the holo--and no armor!

What they should've done is when they fix(ed) it, either wipe out the quests for all who've done it, add a planetary quest reset NPC (one time only or good once every six months), or wipe it/add the NPC for Rebels.

This is one of the sweetest quests I've seen in a game, but also one of the more frustrating to do since the same NPC that needs to die also needs to be talked to. If someone did the work, they should have the reward. (That goes for all the broken ROTW quests.)

Yeah, just fixing the quest doesn't cut it. They need to offer those of us that FOUND the bug the simple courtesy of the unbugged reward. Simple as that.

Nothing will happen. The people that missed out on the holo or armor to date will not get it. There will be no reset, no compensation. Those Rebels that did the quest early out of enthusiasm and curiosity will remain penalized, as will those that did the quest later with the assurance of it being fixed (when in fact it was even more broken).

That may well be, but if that's the case, then they're going to have to ban me. Because I'm not going to let this go. Every day, a new CSR ticket (as many as I can file, given that they close them out with autoreplies). A new post on the Issues thread, and bumps here. Hell, a letter to Lucasarts and IGN/Gamespy sounds about right, too. I'm sorry, but they're using this quest to advertise the expansion, and players need to know that these quests are buggy, and if they screw something up, then SOE Customer-Service will use their feedback and then ignore them.

Unless of course, they're good enough to cowboy up and do the right thing in spite of the technical difficulties.

They need to just reset the quest and be done with it. Heck, in today's patch, they said again that the armor would now be correctly rewarded. Sure, more armor in the system, but it's the only way to make right with the customers on this without giving stuff out to people who didn't do the quest.

still no armor to those who haven't got it after finsihing, and still no holo'd x wing to those qho didn't get one...

let us redo broken quest now... quit being lazy

I want my clone tropper armor i got the hologram and the quest is done in my quest history pad MORT dident give me no armor and yes i had space in my inventory and i talked to him after quest was done to .

I'm not sure the Devs really realize how upsetting this can be to some members. Does anyone know if there's been any correspondent who brought this up?
