Thread: So I have to buy ROTW in order to equip looted cybernetic attachments!?

So I bought a ranged cyber-arm, try to equip it and it says "you must register for the Episode III expansion in order to equip this item." Please tell me this is some kinda bug, and not a lame attempt to get people to purchase ROTW.

What were you expecting to get from the expansion without actually having to pay for it ? I'm guessing your using a keygen for the land based version as well and probably your daddies CC for the monthly bill

I fixed the spelling mistake. But, I'm thinking its more of the fact you don't know a what a CC or a keygen is. Otherwise, this makes perfect sense. None the less the journey is only begun for yourself

LOL....hey some of us would rather have an actual item to hold if we are paying $$$ for it..(ie:CD).
& yet there are others who have been married & dont have credit cards anymore.

no, the spelling mistake wasnt what i meant. and you are right "CC" and "keygen" are indeed words that are hard to comprehend... 
But think about this:
If his dad was paying for his swg stuff,then his dad would have bought rotw for him already,because thats the way it works with the dads that pay swg bills 
So either flame him because he is too poor to buy rotw or because his dad is paying for his account, but not both 
From the way i feel right now my journey is rather coming to an end, what about your journey?

Ok... I dunno what all the flaming about, but whatever. I just thought it was odd that you canequip ROTW looted weapons and armor without buying the expansion, but not the cybernetics.

The irony, from my point of view, is that the RotW expansion is the only part of this game worth paying for

I shouldnt have to buy 4 ROTWS. I have one, I get arms, I trade to toons who don't have it, or sell to open market, and that should be it.
