A guildie tells me shes never noticed any affect.

Does it do anything?

What does it do?

Will it work on melee?

Does it work w lighsabers?

Any info is apprciated.

it does work adds more dmg to the weapon you have equiped and yes it works on LS

It add a few more damage, dunno really but it should add Heat Elemental damage. Maybe +10 to +25 max.

When I used it all I noticed in my log was that "I hit x creature for 50 pts" then the effect wore off. Seems pretty weak to me.

says, "gives your weapon a chance to create an additional affect. did it about 30 times, not dmg increas on any.

The effect hardly happens and when it does it's usually weak (in the 40-50ish damage range). However there were a few times where I saw logs for about 100 damage. I don't recall what CL the mob was but it was at least 67 and probably more like 70+.

Just tested it with a LS last night, CL70+ mobs, it's not doing anything at all.

This item sadly is for ranged only atm... and pisses me off because i bio linked it and now it's just trash since i'm melee... pull out a gun and shoot a few things with it and you will see an extra message about 25% of your shots that does extra heat shock dmg.

if used it on about 20 mobs and no effect. So mofp, did you test it before saying it works?

Besides it's damag effects. how does it work? do you epuip a weapon with it? does it apply to any weapon you equip. does it have a use timer that it only works every few hours or days like a buff crystal? what are the details on how it can be used? I dont understand it so i havent used mine yet. thx.
