Thread: Wookiees and Ithorians need to protest this!!

Wookiees and Ithorians cannot wear the Miner's Medallion! The name states it is a medallion but the existing art for a necklace was used therefore Wooks and Ithorians cannot equip this item. Major foul-up there.
Same thing for the new Jedi cloaks. Wooks and Ithorians left out again. Heck take the wookiee smock and use that to make a new Jedi cloak for wooks. Something could also be done for Ithorians also!
In another thread TH has confirmed that the Master Taming Necklace is not wearable by Wooks and Ithorians also. The thing is Wookiees have a speciaes ability that adds to CH. Now we cannot use this new Master Taming Necklace because it was made using pre-existing art that wooks and ithorians are restricted from? Who had their head up their arse when that decision was made?
Take one of the Master Pilot Medals that wooks and Ithorians can wear and use that for both the Miner's Medallion and the Master Taming Necklace for pete's sake. Don't you people think things through before you implement anything? Oh wait I forgot I was talking about SOE here, they only think about friggin profits.

what the hell wookies been the underdog from day 1 now seems to b a choice armor or cloth
y can other races do bouth at the same time but wooks cant so whell im just another

well I cant wear any of the cool ithorian clothing like the newsboy hat so you dont get a cloak!

I'm an ithorian CH. I'm also upset about the racial discrimination for new loot. they're too small to fit around my neck?I'll wear the taming necklace and the miners necklace around my wrists and ankles...i dont care. just so long as i can get the stat bonuses these items give humans.

I'm not a Ch, nor am I wookie nor ithorian, but I have to say that excluding two races, wookies being a natural choce to many too due to the taming bonus, from the only way in game to reach the pinnacle of their profession is beyond dropping the ball.
I am normally very very pessisimistic about actually seeing changes being made to items or mechanics due to player feedback like this, but this is such a blatant mistake they have to fix this.

One of my friends plays an Ithorian Master Creature Handler and has been going on about this necklace since the planet went live for pre-orders. I'm scared to tell him he might not be able to wear it as that would be more than enough to get him to cancel his subscription!
The devs managed to make the Crafter's Apron wearable by wookiee and ithorians so they should start working on getting these necklaces wearable by all too.

Wookiees, Ithorians, and Dosh are not asking for special treatment. We are just asking for equal treatment.
If they are going to give out a major quest reward like this, everyone who is in the class that can use that reward should be able to equip it. They have two choices on how to do that. One is to make the item equipable by everyone regardless of species. The other is to give an alternate, equivalent, reward that the other species can equip.
I don't care how they accomplish the goal. But I do care that right now my Wookiee Jedi will not have the same access to the benefits from ToOW that other Jedi will have. I think is extemely poor planning on their part and I think that they need to fix it.
