I used to have one heck of a time getting loot to aid me in GCW PvP.... then I started grinding my jedi.. and finished it....

Now there's very little to keep me attracted to this game, Krayt aren't dropping premiums, NS are a joke, I'm not a BH (And have absolutely no plan on becoming one).... and you can only kill necrosis so many times before becoming completely bored. The DWB would be nice, but the drop rates there are so horrendous that it's like they're not even dropping....

GCW is there, sure, but there's no objective anymore. I could either help slice an enemy base or defend a friendly... with no reward involved.

Now, tell me, why stay here and not transverse to WoW and do what I enjoyed doing there? To say the truth, I love getting in a nice size group, and taking on something nearly-impossible to kill, but there's just nothing like that here, there's no tactics involved, it's all just "spam saber armor break/power attack while the mdef tanks the SBD"

Dude, I am asking myself the same question along with tons of other people. I am hoping they will release something to do for everyone (GCW that does something or some kind of PvP thing) or some great high-end PvE stuff. Think DWB except possible with a group.

But to be more precise, right now, SWG is just useless. I am very close to leaving the game for WoW (where all my friends are). Plus, in WoW, they release new content all the time. In my mind, one update in WoW=one expansion pack in SWG.

Make your own content -- roleplay. (See the Roleplaying forum for more.) You don't have to get hardcore to start your own story arcs and enjoy them.

[1] friends, but hey theres always msn
[2] your subscription has not run out yet

They simply haven't fixed loot yet (except for bh marks). There'd be alot more to do and alot more to keep player's attention if there were more places to get good loot. Theres just no way of telling when loot will be fixed. Probably with the next expansion, but who knows with SOE, maybe not even then.

I agree 100% they should really develop the GCW into what is should have been; the MAIN aspect of this game, NOT the jedi. At this rate SWG is becoming an elaborate Jedi Academy with non Jedi as the support cast providing content for THEM.

So you killed everything, great.

Now why don't you become a crafter, entertainer or support profession? I know it's not the "God mode" you've enjoyed for a while but this might help put things in perspective for you.

Surrender skills on your alternate and master something else. You want a challenge? Become a Master Politician. I assume you've mastered space as well? Do you have all badges? Now that's a few months worth of fun.

Have you helped a new player lately? That alone can become a rewarding experience. Have you taken the time to group with low level players and introduce them to the "spin group".

Buy a guild hall and decorate it. Check out the roof top on those things, they make for great PvP arenas. Maybe you can hold events there.

Don't forget about Nov. 1. It's expansion time! Plenty of new content there. And it looks like there's a uber reward for completing the whole thing. That alone would make me stay.

yeah, but another quest planet??? that sucks, we need another real planet that people can inhabit. so all the active players can get away from these dead cities and real growth can start again.

What do you mean? They have been fixing the loots...

Nightsister Elders no longer drop Premium Crystals

Other Nightsisters no longer drop Quality Crystals

Force User Mobs of Dant no longer drop Quality and Select Crystals nor mod clothing (islanders sometimes drop aa/ca if you farm them enough)

Janta/Mokk/Kunga/Dantari now predominantly only drop junk resources (no more dot knives and staves)

Aakuans no longer drop SEA's

Tuskens and Jawa's no longer drop DOT Rifles

Ancient Krayts no longer drop Flawless Pearls

Giant and Canyon Krayts no longer drop Premium Pearls

Juvenile Canyon Krayts no longer drop Quality Pearls

Geo Cave loots are worthless now in new system (scythes, dxr6's, geo pistols = worthless)

Loot Kit items no longer drop off anything

DoT weapons no longer drop off anything (grenades do NOT count as DoTs )

Legendary Weapons no longer have a chance to drop off anything

Exceptional Weapons and Items no longer have a chance to drop off anything

Dark Jedi Masters no longer drop Premium crystals or +25 SEA's (still drop +20ish sometimes if you can take the boring farming and weeding through woundpacks)

Binary Liquid and Protective Liquid Coating have less than a 1% drop chance in the DWB yet every Player in the game has a 100% chance to get jedi

I'd say they've done quite well thoroughly "fixing" the loots.

If you're asking why you should remain in the game, then you probably shouldn't even be here. If you can't think of any reason to stay and have to ask others why you should, then it's best if you simply leave for there really is no reason for you to stay. If someone gives you a reason, that's their reasons to stay, not yours.
If you can't find anything to do and you have to make a pointless thread like this, then you really have no reason to continue playing. It's pointless to spend money on something you can't find anything worthwhile to continue for and have to ask other people why you should. It's just whinning in my eyes.
