Thread: Lose a friend/lover/family member thanks to the Deathstar? Post your disgust over the vet reward

How sick is it that SOE has given us such a terrible reminder of how our loved ones were lost?

Why would I want to put up a hologram of the same machine that blew up the planet where my family lived? I should have been there with them, but I was off planet at the time. I was one of the few lucky ones and now I must be reminded by receiving the Deathstar Hologram.

SOE needs to rethink this 2 Year Vet reward and give us something meaningful and not so upsetting as the Deathstar.

Ok, first off you're not from Alderaan, second, this is just a GAME!!!

IT IS NOT REAL.

Let me brake it down for you.... When you die in SWG you do NOT die in front of your computer screen.

When you kills something, you don't really kill anyone in real life. When you shuttle around, you don't really shuttle from one city/planet to another.

Perhaps the world we live in is not real either...No real proof that it is.

God forbid someone would roleplay in a roleplaying game, simpleton.

And just what part does SOE play in the Star Wars setting if this is RP?

The fact of the matter is that SWG is just another game.

Perhaps, but how is it connected to the game?

Not too damn much. Apparently the only content they continue to produce is force PVP for a profession instead of content for the general populace that doesn't cost another $25 everytime they actually have a publish.
