Well from what I read there....it is a bug that they are not allowed ot be worn right now. So I am guessing they were supposed to be changed to clothing just like the Blacksun helm and such.

but they were already considered clothing...

Nope, they were not considered clothing. They were considered armor hence why they took AA's not CA's

Well there is one of two answers: 1. it was a bug 2. it was a bug they could use aa's
