Sounds good to me.

If Wookies could wear any type of armor.. they would look utterly stupid. Then, our ithorian friends would start complaining (although I really think the Ithorian armor is really cool looking.)

If you want to wear the other armor so much, just create a new toon. Wookies (as well as ithorians) get more health thanany other species.

ONE SUGGESTION: let all races where their freakin pilot helmet, its a bit unfair they cant wear something they worked so hard for dontcha think?

The whiners haven't been around long enough to have seen the days when Wookies could wear NO Armor whatsoever.

It's funny: Chewbacca didn't wear armor for FOUR movies... that's freakin' CHEWIE, for goodness' sakes! On Episode 3, EVERY Wookie we see, on KASHYYYK, their HOMEWORLD, wore NO Armor.

If we go the way of the Star Wars movies, we will get the following:

The Jedi are practically dead.

The Empire is in a position of tremendous strength.

The Rebels have a big, good fight to overcome.

There will be task forces or fleets from the Imperial Navy and Alliance.

There will be space battles.

Imperial get standard uniforms and armor when fighting for the GCW, on the behalf of the Emperor.

The game would reflect the guerilla, ground-based warfare of the Rebel Alliance. The Alliance cannot afford needless losses.

The game would reflect the military might of the Galactic Empire (which is in control of the Galaxy). The Empire, esp. the Imperial Navy, is always hunting for any trace of the Rebellion.

You will not get away with disrespecting the iconic characters. Vader will KILL you. Leia would likely put a smoking hole into any Imperial that has funny ideas.

Original Trilogy equipment will be more competetive and more present than the Prequel gear the devs seem to favor.

Imperials will look like Imperials.

There will be more equipment from the Original Trilogy, instead of the constant drive for Prequel equipment.

We might get a GCW resembling in look, feel, and theme to the Original Trilogy.

Well, since I took part in the Wookiee protest on Bria all that while ago, I am quite happy with having 3 different types of armor to wear. Hell, our armor is on par with everyone else's armor too, that in itself is a major difference. I was happy when they first introduced the Ceremonial Armorwith thecrappy 40-50% max. It was no compositie, but damn what a difference it made.

So, please take your concerns to more important issues...

I'd like to see Wookies be able to wear more clothing items espcially BE'd ones. I can only wear 1 shoulder pad with ranged/melee def. Make what we can wear be able to be BE'd or add more items.

don't forget about bandoliers and Body/Head pieces can also have BE properties. Not to mention wookiee smocks/robes
