Now that we have the FS folks wandering about, do we know what the 'mysterious orb' is used for? It may be decoration, but I did notice that it is slicable (armor slice), so my guess is that it may have other uses...

wow they can be sliced! i got one from a valerian mission and use it nextto my crystals. they may havesome use but know i think no. same with the petrified avian eggs. and did you slice it?

I didn't slice it - I'm not a master smuggler (yet), so I'm going to wait until then.

For now, it does make a nice decoration in my house.

I have an avain egg. It too can be "sliced" and it requires "an armor repair kit". I am a master smuggler. and it IS a bug. I have sliced it. 4 times! used up 4 clamps. 8 lasers, and 4 armor repair kits. they did nothing and I still have the option to slice it. In the test center's lastest patch their is a statement about fixing this bug. Sorry, no mystery there. (but I did get excited the first time I noticed the option to slice it)

oh well just another glitch. it would be hilarious to find out that the entire jedi proffession was modeled around a glitch. although not unlikely. they make us quest after a glitch would be ironic!

Just like when you used to be able to slice clothing. It didn't do anything to the clothes, but you could do it.

Hmm...ifyou get the xp for every successful slice, how much do you think this would be worth to a NOVICE smuggler?

Novice Smugglers cant slice "armor"
