i was wondering where the Jedi skilltapes can be looted except in the aukuan cave...

yeah would be awesome if we could find out what factional npcs drop. Does any1 know what imp npcs and rebel npcs, and where to find them?

Picked up a +7 double handed one from a Sith Thug attacking the village this morning.
Though I prefer the +9 engine experimentation that was also on it.

just PVE rebel bases, nothing special, sand rats and such like are good

Sith Thugs/Pirates are great. They spawn in large bunches and so are readily available.

I looted a +1 force regen of a Nova Trooper
and was very lucky and became very popular witha +5 force power regen off a Jinda that looked at me funny

Does anyone know where these re drooping or what mobs they come from? i have tried a lot of stuff and cannot find them anywhere...

Then you've been unlucky. There's probably a loot table that we'll never know about.
I've looted Jedi tapes form Canyon Corsairs, Binyare Pirates and a Meatlump (that surprised the heck out of me.)
They are out there, you just need to get lucky I guess.
