Note to Station Access Subscribers
As many of our Star Wars Galaxies players signup for Station Access, we would like to clarify that your original purchase date of Station Access will NOT affect your Veteran Rewards Status for any previous or possible future rewards. The Veteran Rewards System will always operate off your original Star Wars Galaxies subscription date.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If this was true and your first day of signing on was the point in wich rewards is counted then why havent I and others recieved a5thchoice not 3 n veteran rewards??

I have been here since launch uniterupted service and the command to see your time ingame for rewards says I have 576 days

that would be 90 1 reward, 180 2nd reward, 365 3rd reward, 455 4th reward, 545 5th reward.

Why are the people who have been loyal customers since launch treated as though we have been here a year?

I am not being greedy just being practical. they say your subscription day is what counts when in reality is a year from the day the rewards go live.

Being a launch veteran is no better than signing up over 6 months later. Seems a little unfair to me.

I left the original Post intact lol figured I would be honest

However I stand corrected as you will see below on my last post.

I was wrong in what I believed.

Good point, I wondered the same thing.

Even better, why is the "start date" based on the original subscription date and not the "last subscription date".

My Brother quit this game for 5 months and just came back and got all 3 rewards. Doesn't seem that "fair" that people who have been playing 100% of the time get the same "reward" ad the people who have quit and come back.

Oh well.

I don't understand. There are no awards yet for over 365 days. But people who started early WILL be rewarded by getting their 24 month reward before others... and any other subsequent awards as well.

If you were thinking that there was a reward for every 90 days of play, that is incorrect. If that were true then there would be a 270 day award as well, and there is not.

That wouldn't be fair to some people either. I let my account lapse for a day or two due to uncertainty over something ... and actually, it looks like this IS the case, because I'm being offered the 90-day rewards for subscribing in May.

The way I read the original thread there is a veteran reward every 90 days, 180 days, and yearly. that is why they say you can work your way through the "For the home items" and "For fun items" eventually and collect them all.

you seem to believe it will be a yearly thing and maybe you are right but think about this

if that is true and assuming you took 1 field item and 1 for fun and home item just now. then it would take you 6 more years just to collect all the inhome and for fun items.

Seems a little excessive to me lol

A correspondent said somewhere that it was every 90 day 180 day and yearly, if that is true then i would have hit my next 90 day and 180 day.

Maybe we could get a red name to clearify why our original dates do not matter and why being a launch veteran is no better than being a year veteran.

It is not ego that I believe I and anyone else should be privalaged but it does state above its your subscription date not reward start date.

Veteran Rewards will celebrate subscription milestones achieved by individual players. If you are a former player any active time you have accrued will contribute towards your veteran rewards if/when you reactivate your account. The program will give players a choice of exclusive in-game items at significant subscription milestones. The identified milestones that will be celebrated as part of the program will include 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 24 months and every additional 12 months thereafter.

I stand corrected

even the thread i read in another forum has been edited.

I apologise for believing what I read there and not looking further.

I do expect my 24th month to count though and not a year from yesterday lol

I think that the next reward will be at 24 months and (really guessing here) every year there after. I have no basis for the "every year there after" part, but I base the 24 month speculation on the thread out there that the Devs started requesting ideas for the 24 month reward.

I am absolutely fine with waiting until 24 months for my next giftIF it is truly a reward. I mean the anti-decay kit will save me millions and millions of credits on pearls or crystals for my saber. If they come up with something that good for the 24 mo reward, I am happy to wait. I have no need or desire for lesser rewards like the 90 and 180 day ones, and if the rewards are going to be awesome, they can't be dropping them in the game every 90 days. If the rewards are that frequent, all we will get is a few more trinkets for the house I fear.

Older vets WILL be rewarded by getting the next rewards before anyone else.

EDIT: Just read the post prior to this, so nevermind.

You only get the 90, 180 day rewards once, I believe. After that, it's one every year. You never get a second 90-day reward unless you accept a 90-day reward on your second year. I don't think the patch notesever state that you'll get another 90-day reward, unless someone can quoteit where I'm wrong.

The rewards should be based on how many days you have played for, whether you have ever cancelled your account or not. If i play for 30 days, and a year later play for another 30 days, then i should have 60 days toward my total.

This is fair to everyone, as their playtime is rewarded.

I started in june of 2003, and stopped logging in in January of 2004, i officially cancelled my account in April of 2004. I have reactivated my account this month. I should have about 11 months (330 days) on my character...
