Thread: SFOR Carbine in friday feature is not the same as the one in game, why?
Hello,
I completed the quest for acarbine with 74 SAC, per the friday feature. I got a carbine with 117 sac. What gives?
Thanks!
Because SOE pulled the bait and switch game. They showed the beta weapons in their survey...and changed the live ones to useless ones.
But they have your cash now don't they?
117 sac ftl ![]()
and the special ability doesnt work on the gun /pout
found out today that the high end loot is still high end. SO there is probably a SFOR Carbine that is a loot in one of the instances that will have nice stats.
Personally I'm not buying the expansion unless I see a good variety of player craftable schematics. Otherwise they can take their expansion and well you know
There are two ways you can get any weapon from Mustafar.
The first way is to do the quest. The quest reward weapons are universally crappy. They were crappy in Beta, they're crappy in Live.
The other way is to find out what combination of magic loot makes the magic cube disgorge a schematic. Then, when you know what combination of magic loot makes the no-trade schematic, loot those pieces again and give them to one of the rare weaponsmiths who actually bought the expansion, and have him generate the schematic.
After that, you'll probably have to loot more magic crap in order to generate any additional pieces that might be required to actually make the weapon.

there are 3 ways you mean. there are looted weapons from teh hard instance dugeons in the HK-47 quest line
Luxor,
That is completely understandable but, then maybe:
They should have told me those weapons would no longer be available before they took my money
or
Made the loot a schem that could be taken to an artisan and created so that the artisans get a cut too.
I got the shaft. I really wanted that Carbine
The proton is better! I guess the DPS 23 BH rifle will suck too?
Ah well, at least i destroyed my skiff and BARC trying to get it. This crappy gun only cost me a half a mill in credits for VRKs to get ![]()
Bad SOE! Bad dog!
